Alright, so you've just landed in the BONELAB Hub, also known as the Special Projects Area. Think of this place as your main base of operations in BoneLab. It's where you'll jump off to all the different game modes and where you can swap out your look with different avatars. It's pretty central to the whole campaign, so let's get you oriented.
Right off the bat, you'll start in the Conceptual Isolation Chamber. You can either force your way out through the doors or find a way through the roof hatch. Once you're out, you'll hear some tunes and see a bulletin board. This board is your mission log for the Hub – it'll point you towards the six modules you need to explore to get things rolling.
Unlocking the Left Side
After you've checked out three of those modules, you'll see these cool pillars of light appear above them. That means it's time to head to the control room. Inside, you'll get to pilot a BOSSCLAW. It’s got a few controls: a lever to extend and retract it, some directional controls to move it along its tracks, and a button to toggle its magnetic gravity field.
Your mission here is to use the minimap to guide the BOSSCLAW to those unlocked energy cores. Once you get close, activate the gravity field, and the cores will snap right onto the BOSSCLAW. Then, you need to ferry them over to one of the six tubes flanking the control room. They’ll snap into place when you’re close enough. Get three cores into the tubes, and the big quarantine airlock on the right side of the control room will open up.
Unlocking the Right Side
Once you've made some progress in the campaign and find yourself back in the Hub, you'll need to tackle the remaining modules and grab their energy cores, just like before. When all six cores are slotted into their pipes, the BONEWORKS door, located to the right of the control area, will become accessible.
Hidden Room
If you're feeling adventurous, you can dive into the metal vents beneath the main lab area. Follow the corridors, and you'll find a couple of walls with hand-drawn doors. If you've found one of the keycards (you can find these in the Stress Level Zero offices), you can use it to pass through one of these walls. This will lead you to a room that's connected to the Lab but is actually located underneath MythOS City's District 05. The purpose of the second hand-drawn door is still a bit of a mystery!
