Climbing the Central Spire

Master the BONELAB Hub! Learn how to unlock the left and right sides, pilot the BOSSCLAW, and find the hidden room in this essential guide.

Alright, so you've made it to the BONELAB Hub, also known as the Special Projects Area. This is your main stomping ground in BONELAB, the central hub that connects you to all the different game modes. Think of it as your mission control. You'll find six modules here, each leading to a different themed map, and a Bodymall where you can swap out your avatar. Let's get this place unlocked!

Unlocking the Left Side:

First things first, you'll need to dive into three of the modules. Once you've done that, keep an eye out for boxes containing energy cores. These will pop up above the modules, creating pillars of light. Your next move is to head to the control room. Here, you'll get to pilot a BOSSCLAW. You can extend and retract it using a lever, and move it forward and side-to-side along its rails. There's also a button to toggle its magnetic gravity field. Using the minimap, guide the BOSSCLAW to those energy cores you spotted. Activate the gravity field when you're close, and the cores will snap right onto the BOSSCLAW. Then, you just need to bring them over to one of the six tubes flanking the control room. They'll automatically attach when you're close enough. Once you've got three energy cores secured in the pipes, the massive quarantine airlock to the right of the control room will open up.

Unlocking the Right Side:

After you've progressed a bit and find yourself back in the Hub, it's time to tackle the remaining modules and grab their energy cores, just like before. When all six cores are slotted into their pipes, the BONEWORKS door, located to the right of the control area, will become accessible.

Hidden Room:

Feeling adventurous? Head into the metal vents beneath the lab. You'll find a maze of corridors leading to two walls with hand-drawn doors. If you've picked up one of the keycards from the Stress Level Zero offices, you can use it to pass through one of these walls. This will lead you to a room that's connected to the Lab but is actually located beneath District 05 of MythOS City. The purpose of the second hand-drawn door is still a bit of a mystery!
