Alright, let's get this side quest, "To Friends Departed," sorted out in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. First things first, you'll need to have finished the main story mission called "Take Flight." Once that's done, make your way to The Hearth in Hometree. You know, the spot with the cooking station? Keep an eye out around there for a Na'vi named Kayi. He's the one who'll kick off this quest for you, asking you to meet him at the Healing Circle. To get there, just head west from The Hearth, go into the tunnel you see, and then take the very next tunnel off to the side. It’s a pretty straightforward path that leads you right to the Healing Circle, where Kayi is waiting with his friend who's sadly passing away.

After a bit of a chat with Kayi, he’ll ask you to find Tsu’kiri. Apparently, Tsu’kiri's been acting a bit strange since his friend's death, and Kayi wants your help to figure out what's going on. You'll need to head to Weaver’s Flourish, which is a Na’vi camp located east and slightly south of Hometree, right along The Threaded River. Once you get there, you should see an optional objective pop up asking you to talk to someone at the camp about Tsu’kiri’s whereabouts. Look for the NPC standing right near the spot where you can pass the time. Don't worry, you won't have to search far; Tsu'kiri is just a little west of the camp itself.

When you finally catch up with Tsu’kiri, he'll be pretty upset. He's angry because his recently departed friend apparently told a lot of lies and played jokes, even about finding some kind of shell. Tsu'kiri hasn't seen any proof of this shell, and that's what he's focused on.

Where to Find Ey’teko’s Strange Shell

The good news is that Ey’teko’s Strange Shell isn't too far from Weaver’s Flourish, based on the in-game directions. It's located up along the cliffs near the camp. Ey’teko mentioned seeing rocks in the river, a big vine, and even the camp itself from where he was. Use those clues, along with the waypoint the game gives you, and start heading northeast. The spot you're looking for is pretty much directly north of the Weaver’s Flourish camp and just north of the Tarsyu Sapling in that area.

As you make your way there, you'll need to climb up some cliffs. Once you're up there, look for a tree with some baskets in front of it. If you haven't been to this spot before, you'll see an Equipment Basket and a Food Basket. The actual Ey’teko’s Shell is sitting right out in the open on the ground, nestled among those baskets. Once you've grabbed the shell, just head back to Tsu’kiri in the same spot where you found him earlier to wrap up the quest.

To Friends Departed Quest Rewards

Since this quest doesn't involve a ton of challenging tasks, the rewards are pretty decent. You'll snag Tsu’kiri’s Strap, which is an Exquisite Chest Guard Mod. This mod gives you the Fortitude bonus, boosting your base health by +20% whenever a food buff is active. On top of that, you'll also get a single Skill Point, and who doesn't love an extra skill point?
