Where to Find Bruised Moss in Avatar: Materials

Find Bruised Moss in avatar frontiers of pandora's Kinglor Forest. Learn how to get Pristine Bruised Moss for crafting better gear like Koranu's Shawl.

Finding Bruised Moss during the early portion of the game can be tricky as it’s small and blends into the environment. However, Bruised Moss is typically found in the water amongst rocks and it’s most commonly found in the Kinglor Forest, which is the first region. You can find several instances of Bruised Moss sitting on top of rocks on the river to the west of the Aranhe Clan Hometree. Once you’ve obtained the Bruised Moss for the first time, you’ll be able to visit your Hunter’s Guide and pin it. Then, you’ll want to activate your Na’vi Sense by holding in RB on Xbox or R1 on PlayStation and follow the scent, as it’ll lead you to more.

There are different types of moss that you’ll encounter in avatar frontiers of pandora, but Bruised Moss is likely to be the first type that you’ll find. Head to the left of the Aranhe Clan Hometree to find Bruised Moss.

How to Get Pristine Bruised Moss:

If you wish to get your hands on some pristine Bruised Moss, then you’ll need it to be raining and you’ll need to harvest it perfectly, which can be done by holding the analog stick to the left. You’ll always want to get the best quality of the material you can, as it’ll improve your chances of getting better stats on the gear you craft with it. With the Moss in your possession, you’ll want to visit a Crafting Bench, which can be found in most settlements. Then, if you have the required design, you’ll be able to craft better Chest Guards, such as the Koranu’s Shawl. You’ll want to make sure you craft the best equipment you can, as it’ll increase your overall combat strength.
