First up, we've got the Pale Night Leaf Branch, which you'll need for your Longbows. Head over to the Kinglor Forest, specifically the Rising Spires sub-region. You want to go to the southwest part of this area. Once you're in the mountains, fly your Ikran up to the highest point you can reach. You'll find an Ikran Gear Basket there, and right around it are the Pale Night Leaf Branches. For the best quality, try to grab these during a Thunderstorm.

Pale Canopy Root Location

Still in Kinglor Forest, let's find the Pale Canopy Root. Make your way to the Spinner's Circle sub-region, which is in the northeast. Look for an area called Shadow Hollow. Just east of that, you'll see a really big tree – it's pretty hard to miss and marked on the map. Go to the base of this giant tree and find the opening. Head inside, and then look up to your left. That's where you'll spot the Pale Canopy Root. To get the best quality, make sure there's a Hurricane happening when you harvest it.

Pro-Tip: You'll find this in Shadow Hollow, within the Spinner's Circle sub-region of Kinglor Forest.

Pale Vineshroom Location

We've got one more Pale material in Kinglor Forest: the Pale Vineshroom. Head towards the northern end of the Rising Spires area. Look for a spot named The Threaded River, which is just northeast of the Crooked River. If you've unlocked the Stone Refuge Na'vi camp, fast traveling there is your best bet. From the camp, go a little northwest, and you'll find a big, Y-shaped vine. The Pale Vineshroom is hanging underneath it. You'll need your Ikran for this one, as you can't reach it on foot. Make sure no weapon is equipped, then slowly approach the vine. Your character will automatically grab it when you're close enough.

Pale Fire Seed Location

Alright, let's head to the Upper Plains for the Pale Fire Seed. Fast travel to the Crossed Arches Na'vi Camp in The Celebration Valley. Use the nearby fire to rest until the weather turns into a Thunderstorm – this is crucial! Once it's stormy, fly down to the plains below the huge arches. Look for Zakru Falls on your map and search the area around it for groups of Fire Seeds. Many of these will be Exquisite quality. Now, here's the tricky part: you have to wait for a lightning strike to hit one of the seeds to make it Pale. It'll still look like a normal Fire Seed when you use Na'vi Sense, but its name will pop up when you hover over it.

Easier Method: Waiting for lightning can be a pain. A much simpler way is to use any Shotgun with Storm Ammo. Go to the same spot, find the Fire Seeds, and shoot them with any weapon to expose them. Then, switch to your Shotgun and Storm Ammo and shoot the exposed seed. If you do it right, you'll see it visibly turn into a Pale Fire Seed, and you can harvest it normally.

Pro-Tip: Head to The Celebration Valley in the Upper Plains to find these Fire Seeds.

Pale Plains Nectar Location

Next up is the Pale Plains Nectar, found in the Upper Plains. Go to the Shattered Bridge sub-region, located in the northeast part of the region. If you've found it, fly over to the Reconnaissance Ancestor Skill location – it's a cave. Inside this cave, look towards the southeast wall. You'll find Pale Plains Hives there, where you can collect the Nectar. For the best quality, you'll want to harvest this during a Hurricane.

Pro-Tip: This spot is in the Shattered Bridge area of the Upper Plains, inside the cave with the Ancestor Skill.

Pale Vine Fiber Location

We're heading north in the Mother of Rivers sub-region for the Pale Vine Fiber. Find the First Zakru area, which is north of the big lake. To the east of that, there's a small grassy plateau you can land on – it also has a Sarentu Totem. Go into the cave behind the totem and look up. You should be able to spot the Pale Vine Fiber. You'll need to shoot it down to harvest it. Like many Pale materials, you'll get the best quality if you harvest it during a Hurricane.

Pro-Tip: The location is near the Sarentu Totem in the Mother of Rivers sub-region. Go into the cave behind it and look up.

Pale Canyon Reed Location

For the Pale Canyon Reed, travel to the Clouded Forest and head to the Cradling Pines sub-region in the east. Carver's River is just south of the RDA base you escaped from earlier. East of the river, you'll see a Bellsprig marked on your map. Go to that spot, and you'll find a large rocky outcrop. Be careful, though, as a Thanatos often patrols this area! Once it's safe, look at the bottom of the outcrop. That's where you'll find the Pale Canyon Reeds. Harvesting during a Hurricane will give you a better quality.
