Fire Seed Locations

Find Fire Seeds in avatar frontiers of pandora. Learn where to locate them in Upper Plains and how to harvest them for crafting.

You cannot find Fire Seeds until you reach the second region, Upper Plains. Progress through the main story until you complete the mission, The Wandering Clan. It is recommended to complete the mission Hunters Hunted first, as this grants access to your Ikran. Travel to a Windswept Grasslands biome, one of the first of which is in the Mother of Rivers sub-region in the northern Upper Plains. Then, make your way to Greatheart Lake.

Fire Seeds are scattered around the open field near Greatheart Lake, particularly around the Sheltered Shore Resistance Field Lab. To harvest them, you must first set them alight by shooting them with an arrow. To keep the Fire Seeds in pristine condition, push the analog stick up while harvesting. Once you gather a Fire Seed, pin it in your Hunter’s Guide to highlight any others you encounter.

What Fire Seeds Are Used For:

When used as one of the two ingredients in cooking, Fire Seeds grant the dish the Nimble Gatherer I effect, which increases your Core Stats by +10% when gathering. Fire Seeds come in three qualities: Fine, Superior, and Exquisite.

How to Get Superior Fire Seeds:

Superior Fire Seeds are required for the Staunch Guardians - Clan Contribution Side Quest. They can be found in the Greatheart Lake area. If you are having trouble finding them, try looking under the Celebration Arches in The Celebration Valley sub-region.

Fire Seeds can be used in cooking to grant the Nimble Gatherer I effect, increasing Core Stats by +10% when gathering. Superior Fire Seeds are needed for the Staunch Guardians - Clan Contribution Side Quest.
