Complete walkthrough for the Feral Hunter quest in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. Learn where to find Access Codes A, B, and C, and how to use them at Research Station Alpha.
Walkthrough
- 1Access Code A: This code is found within Research Station Alpha. You will need to enter the facility by breaking a vent on the eastern side of the station in The Cut area of Clouded Forest. Navigate through the facility, solve a mini-SID puzzle, and hack a computer. After hacking, a Feral Thanator will appear; defeat it, then use your SID to scan and hack the beast to obtain Access Code A.
- 2Access Code B: This code is part of the Deadly Hunt quest, which becomes available after logging the main quest 'The Missing Hunter'. Go to a Na’vi Camp near Hometree and accept the quest from a hunter NPC. Track a Stormglider landing site, which leads to tracking a Thanator. This culminates in a fight with Hunter Bravo, one of the Feral Thanators. Scan its belly after the kill to get Access Code B.
- 3Access Code C: First, go to Kinglor Forest and hunt a Feral enemy (preferably a Thanator). Scan the dead enemy to trigger a conversation about 'kuru', leading to the Severed Bonds side quest. Complete this quest by defeating Feral enemies. Then, find an NPC at a Resistance Lab in the Upper Plains who gives another quest, also named Severed Bonds. This time, you must defeat a Feral Thanator named Hunter Echo. After defeating the first Hunter Echo, pursue and defeat a second one. Use your SID on the second Hunter Echo's body to reveal Access Code C.
- 4Using the Access Codes: Once you have all three codes, return to Research Station Alpha in The Cut, Clouded Forest. Enter the facility and locate the three locked rooms in the large room. Use your SID on the panel next to each door to hack and open them. Inside each room, find a large crate for your quest rewards and an audio log on a desk.
Tips
- It is recommended to have your Ikran before attempting to enter Research Station Alpha for faster travel.
- The Feral Thanator encountered in Research Station Alpha may be a level or two higher than the quest's recommended level, so ensure you have strong equipment and health potions.
- The Access Codes can be acquired in any order. If you obtained B or C last, you will still need to return to Research Station Alpha to use them.
