Memory 01: 01 The Heist

As soon as the mission starts, you'll see two enemies running away. Don't worry, the game marks them with red objective markers. Your job is to chase them down across the rooftops. You can either get close enough to assassinate them or, if you want an easier time, just whip out your pistols and shoot them while they're highlighted. Take down both of them.

After you've dealt with both targets, a short cut-scene will play, and then it's time to attack the fort.

Your main goals here are to cut down the flag on the closest sniper tower and loot 10,000 L worth of treasure from inside the fort. You've only got 4 minutes to do it!

For optional objectives, you'll need to lock pick two doors and loot all 10 chests. The chests are usually in pairs behind destructible wooden doors. Some can be blown up with nearby powder kegs.

From the start, head across the street, hop the fence, and climb the tower right in front of you. Cut down the flag on the roof. This will release some prisoners who'll help distract the guards.

Tip: If you see an opportunity to instantly kill a guard without getting into a prolonged fight, go for it to help the prisoners. But remember, the clock is ticking, so don't get sidetracked!

Once the flag is down, you'll see a scene with the prisoners being freed. When you regain control, move straight ahead and dive into the hay bale in the courtyard below.

Turn left and you'll see a guard fighting a prisoner. Take out the guard. Now you can lock pick the two doors right there to complete the first optional objective.

Next, head to the other three doors. You can either blow them open with powder kegs or just destroy the doors and loot the pair of chests inside each.

Important: Keep focusing on looting. Only engage guards if they absolutely get in your way. Prioritize grabbing all the chests. If you do this efficiently, you should have about a minute left on the timer.

Once all 10 chests are looted, just escape the fort however you see fit and then get out of the area to finish the memory.
