Memory 02: 02 Bravado

Sail the Morrigan towards the initial green objective marker. A cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically) will play, and the objective will update to the back of a nearby island.

As you sail, use the Puckle gun to destroy any mines in the water.

Arrive at the island, dock the ship, and head ashore.

Follow the path to the green objective marker. Use the Puckle gun to shoot mines.

Proceed up the path. On the right, find a small side area with a pool of water and a fallen tree leading upwards. Climb this area and hide in the shrubs at the top.

Observe the patrolling guard ahead. You can either use a sleep dart/grenade or wait for him to patrol away, then sprint between bushes, hugging the right wall, to cross the platform undetected.

Continue following the right-hand wall across the next few platforms.

Use a branch to swing down to a ledge below.

Hop onto the leaning tree directly in front of you to reach the far end of the area. Climb the cliff to a higher platform.

Reach the branch with the viewpoint and synchronize.

Below, you will see a small town and a watchtower at the far end, which is your next objective.

You can either sneak through the buildings to reach the objective marker or sprint through the base for a faster, more dangerous route.

Upon reaching the objective, your target will run off. A guard will tackle you; shake him off and sprint straight ahead to find a rope to slide down to your ship, which has been moved to this side of the island.

Get back on the Morrigan. A large enemy ship will approach. Quickly raise sails and gain speed to pursue your target while dodging the enemy ship's mortar fire. Avoiding damage from these mortars completes the first optional objective.

After a short chase, you will reach a large lake for a face-off against the target ship. Use mortars to target it as it approaches. When it gets close, use heavy shot/broadside attacks, followed by the Puckle gun on weak spots. Repeat until a cutscene plays.

After the cutscene, Shay is on land again with a new objective: assassinate the target. The second optional objective is to kill only the target. Unarmed takedowns count as kills.

From the beach, turn right to find the target's crashed ship. Use the trees to access it, then use the ship's bowsprit to reach a higher platform on the cliffside.

Enter the bushes immediately upon arrival.

Turn left and spot a tree branch. Jump across and follow the treetop path to a snowy ledge.

Climb the cliff and proceed along the narrow ledge, hugging the left wall until you reach wooden buildings.

Look down to see the target patrolling beneath a sheltered storage area. Air assassinations are not possible here.

Go to the corner of the 'L' shaped ledge you are on. Look for a rope strung across the corner.

Hop onto the middle of the rope. Pull out your pistols. When the target patrols to the left, he will pause. Aim your pistols; the reticules should turn red when he is in range.

Shoot the target twice to kill him. This completes the second optional objective.

A cutscene will play, ending the chapter and memory sequence.
