There are six Frontiersmen Club side-missions in Assassin's Creed III that involve traveling to isolated locations to investigate unusual sightings. These missions are marked on the map with a white triangle symbol with a black tip and can be initiated by approaching campfires in the Frontier or speaking with contacts in Boston taverns.

Walkthrough

    Mission 1: The Boy who Cried Wolf
    Locate the quest marker east of the river in the Diamond Basin hunting area. Explore the Frontiersmen’s camp for clues and kill the attacking wolf.

    Mission 2: Finding the Sasquatch
    Find the quest marker in the north-western corner of the Frontier map in the Black Creek hunting area. Interact with clues near a waterfall, then enter the cave to complete the mission.

    Mission 3: The Haunted Lighthouse
    The quest marker is on the eastern side of the Great Piece Hills hunting region. Climb the lighthouse and examine the scarecrow on the top deck.

    Mission 4: The Headless Horseman
    The quest marker is just inside the eastern boundary of the Troy’s Wood hunting area. Examine clues in the area until a scene plays, completing the mission.

    Mission 5: Unidentified flying object
    This mission is in Boston, with the marker in the north-western corner of southern Boston near the water. Examine clues, then climb a nearby tree and examine the object.

    Mission 6: Monster of the Sea
    From a Boston tavern, head to northern Boston and eavesdrop on highlighted conversations. Chat with the old woman by the grave, then head west to a highlighted search area and examine the diving gear.

Frontiersmen Challenges:

These challenges become available after starting 'The Boy Who Cried Wolf' and can be tracked in the Logbook. They are retrospective.

  • Challenge Set 3: Reveal 100% of Boston’s Map, Reveal 100% of New York’s Map, Reveal the whole Frontier Map, Reach all Viewpoints, Discover all Underground Network Entrances in New York and Boston, Visit every tavern in the Frontier, New York, and Boston.
