Walkthrough
  1. 1
Breakout Mission: Gather a large number of peasants and send them to the north-west to gather wood. Once all wood is gathered, they will light the signal fire. Wait for Alain's cavalry to appear in the north and head to the fort.
  2. 2
Breakout Mission - Gate Defense: Do not let the first bombard cannon destroy your gate. Run out and attack it as soon as it approaches.
  3. 3
Breakout Mission - Destroy Bombards: More great bombard cannons will appear after destroying the first one. Alain and his imperial hussars will arrive at your base. Send them to destroy the cannons quickly. Victory is achieved upon destroying the last cannon.
  4. 4
Into the Caves - Initial Defense: Defend the base from an early Ottoman assault. Keep your bombard cannon healthy and reinforcements coming from the barracks.
  5. 5
Into the Caves - Eliminate Ottomans: Use your bombard and towers to eliminate the Ottomans. Stick close to the field hospital for healing.
  6. 6
Into the Caves - Primary Objectives: After eliminating the initial Ottoman forces, primary objectives will be given: Destroy all Ottoman weapons caches.
  7. 7
Into the Caves - Secondary Objective: Build an Artillery Foundry and train at least 10 Hoop Throwers (500 XP).
  8. 8
Into the Caves - Claim Treasure: Claim the nearby treasure (300 XP). Send combat units to kill the two wolves guarding it. Get Morgan to claim it for the points.
  9. 9
Into the Caves - Base Building: Train more peasants for resource gathering (food, wood, coin). Build necessary buildings, including two barracks.
  10. 10
Into the Caves - Early Attack: Send your bombard east, accompanied by all surviving military units and your priest. Build more crossbowmen and pikemen from the barracks while peasants gather resources.
  11. 11
Into the Caves - Destroy Arsenal and Prison: Encounter and destroy the arsenal with your bombard, protected by other units. Destroy the prison to the north to free pikemen.
  12. 12
Into the Caves - Destroy Town Centre and Barracks: Destroy the town center and barracks. Be mindful of the town center's fire range when attacking.
  13. 13
Into the Caves - Further Exploration: Head east and south to destroy remaining buildings, pick up more prisoners, and another treasure item.
  14. 14
Into the Caves - Northern Push: Send your army north. Destroy the northern weapons cache beside a third prison.
  15. 15
Into the Caves - Shipwreck Objective: Build a caravel. Place Morgan and a peasant on it. Send the boat east to find a tiny island with a shipwreck. Gather any supplies near it (300 XP).
  16. 16
Into the Caves - Shipwreck Guardians: Kill the guardians with Morgan (using his special attack) and the caravel. Pick up the Boots of El Pollo Guapo, which increase movement speed by 25%.
Tips
  • The "Breakout" mission can be buggy; if you encounter issues with cannons not appearing, restart the mission.
  • Upgrade options for units are located underneath the unit selection buttons at the barracks.
  • If you choose a unit upgrade (e.g., pikeman) from one barracks, that option will disappear from other barracks.
  • For "Into the Caves," an early assault with a healthy bombard cannon and consistent reinforcements can lead to a quick victory.
  • Stick close to the field hospital for healing during the Ottoman assault in "Into the Caves."
  • When attacking the town center in "Into the Caves," ensure your bombard is not within its firing range.
  • Morgan's special attack is effective against the shipwreck guardians.
  • Home City Level: 2
  • XP: 7,400
