3.3.8 LAST STAND OF THE BONEGUARD

"The Circle has assembled in the Ossuary, their stronghold in Cuba. Will Amelia and Kanyenke be able to stop Beaumont, or will the Circle win at last?"

DEFEAT THE CIRCLE OF OSSUS

Primary Objectives:
  • BRING AMELIA TO HAVANA'S TOWN CENTER
Secondary Objectives:
  • ALLY WITH THE CARIB NATIVE AMERICANS (2000 XP)
  • DESTROY THE CIRCLE'S NAVY (2000 XP)

This level requires surviving a timer and defending Havana. The hardest part is the first ambush. After surviving it, proceed to Havana to trigger the countdown. Build a dock near the Spanish docks to build additional Monitors. The Americans will also supply Monitors. Use multiple Monitors to attack the giant cannon. Be aware that Monitors can reach the temple. To lose the level, ensure Amelia and Kanyenke are both defeated simultaneously, possibly by sinking their ship.

Use the land route as ships cannot pass the Circle's cannons. Take your three ships east and disembark on the beach. Collect treasures, including two settlers. Eliminate Circle units north of the beach and proceed to the yellow base. Wait for the yellow base to fend off the Circle's attack before entering. Rescue two more settlers south of Havana. Upon reaching Amelia at the yellow town center, you will receive a covered wagon. Consider basing your town center near Havana for support and resources. Two new objectives will appear: SURVIVE UNTIL THE US NAVY ARRIVES and ADVANCE TO THE IMPERIAL AGE. Defend Havana by building towers along its southern edge and producing falconets. Gather resources and settlers quickly, aiming for at least ten peasants on each resource type. Havana may tribute resources.
