Complete Age of Empires III Bolivar's Revolt mission. Destroy the Spanish fort and help General Bolivar free towns.
Walkthrough
- 1Head north and assist the yellow allied forces in destroying enemy units and a tower. You will then receive buildings, ships, and peasants, along with a new objective.
- 2Immediately send Amelia on the galleon to the south. Navigate the ship up the coast, past the cliffs, and disembark Amelia near the Indian village.
- 3Construct a trading post in the Indian village while your peasants automatically gather resources around the town center.
- 4Once all resources are collected and the trading post is built, research the three available upgrades. Return Amelia to the boat and send her back to the town center. This must be done quickly to avoid losing access to the Natives' upgrades.
- 5Begin producing peasants and assign them to work at the mill, mine, and trees. Allow enemy ships to attack the dock; they will destroy it and your ship, but your town center should be able to eliminate them. Keep your miners away from the dock until the ships are destroyed.
- 6Before the timer expires, build at least ten musketeers and transport military units or resources, such as a falconet.
- 7Your and Bolivar's troops will face an attack from the east; defeat them, ensuring the safety of the yellow cannon. Bolivar will continuously receive reinforcements throughout this level.
- 8Bolivar and his forces will advance south-east towards the first village. Assist them in clearing out towers and falconets, prioritizing the safety of your own falconet. If Bolivar falls, eliminate the nearby enemies and approach him again, as with any other Hero.
- 9Upon securing the first village, you will gain access to more houses, an arsenal, and an artillery foundry. Immediately move the free mortar obtained to the north-west, as some red enemy units will attempt to attack it.
- 10Continue building your forces, including more falconets and grenadiers. Expect further attacks from the north-east path, which your falconets and troops should be able to repel.
- 11When your peasants exhaust coin at the first mine (assuming ten miners), relocate them to the mine in the far south.
- 12Assemble the largest army you can afford before the next assault. Send this army around to the south-east to locate a small ranch defended by three towers and Spanish units.
- 13With a sufficient number of grenadiers, musketeers, and your Heroes, eliminate the enemy units and towers. Enter the fenced area to acquire free dragoons and two stables.
- 14Defend the stables against any Spanish attacks. When the timer runs out, Bolivar will move north. Allow him to proceed first, then attack the third town with your units in a pincer movement. Use your siege units on the towers while your army engages the enemy in the center.
- 15After liberating the third town, you will receive a church, a barracks, a missionary, and surgeons. You will also gain more peasants at the northern mills; move them to safety promptly.
- 16Proceed with your army to the two stables and await the next timer. Construct a field hospital while your troops engage red enemy attacks from the north.
- 17Utilize your mortar to destroy two towers on the western cliffs above the mills, the falconet north of the south-east gates, the tower adjacent to that falconet, and the gate itself.
- 18Consider sending Amelia north-west to the trading post if you have not yet acquired the upgrades. Additionally, send a Hero due north of the stables to find a trapped missionary.
- 19Use the ample time to replenish your troops, acquiring more falconets and grenadiers while your healing units restore your existing army.
- 20Before Bolivar advances, ensure you have a strong force of falconets and other units, and have cleared all Spanish defenses between your position and the outpost.
- 21Wait for your yellow allies to advance. They will engage the gate defenses, potentially hindering your attack. Bolivar will eventually gain the upper hand, providing an opportunity to enter the Spanish base and destroy the outpost.
