Walkthrough

    Head back to Colony 9 to speak with Emmy Leater, who offers A Young Captain’s Challenge.

    Choose one of two routes to help Emmy:
    • Route A (Nopon Claymore): Travel to Satorl Marsh, specifically the Sororal Statues landmark. Speak to a Nopon Merchant who requires 4 pieces of Bunnia Scent Wood. To obtain this, travel to the Glowing Obelisk landmark in Satorl Marsh and head north to find Ogre Bunnias. Slay them until you collect four pieces of Bunnia Scent Wood. Return the wood to the Nopon Merchant to receive the Nopon Claymore, then give it to Emmy Leater.

    Route B (Carbo Shield): Travel to the Colony 6 area. Fast travel to the Freight Road or Main Entrance landmark. Head north of the Main Entrance, up a ramp, and to your right you will find the Carbo Shield. Bring it back to Emmy Leater.

    After completing Emmy’s quest, head back to Colony 6’s Watchpoint Junction. Take the slope up to the west to reach the entrance of Colony 6.

    Find Otharon near the Main Entrance landmark to begin the Reconstruction Side Quest.

    Otharon asks you to bring refugees back from the Refugee Camp. You must clear monsters from Raguel Bridge.

    First, defeat several level 30 Black Smoke Hox.

    Next, defeat a greater quantity of level 32 White Smoke Hox.

    After defeating the 6 White Hox, go to Juju at the Refugee Camp. Choose to stall the move back home if you still need to complete Refugee Camp quests, or select “Let’s go” to proceed.

    You will automatically return to Colony 6, unlocking the Reconstruction HQ landmark and receiving the EXP Up I and AP Up I Gems.

    Speak with Juju to begin the rebuilding process, which requires Collectables, Materials, and Gold.

    After relocating to Colony 6, speak to Ewan to start the quest What is Love?!.

    Speak to Olga, Gorman, Anna, and Satata as instructed by Ewan. Return to Ewan to complete the quest.

    After completing What is Love?!, Ewan asks you to accompany him on an adventure for courage, starting the quest What is Courage?!. Choose one of two routes:
    • Ether Mine (Route A): Head south of Test Pit 1 to the Secret Area called Glowmoss Lake. Defeat the quest-exclusive level 29 monster, Elegant Marinn, and talk to Ewan.

    Satorl Marsh (Route B): Travel to the Glowing Obelisk landmark and make your way to Soter Ruins. Cross the first bridge and head west towards a narrow strip of land. You will find Ewan being attacked by a quest-exclusive level 33 monster.
Tips
  • Ogre Bunnias in Satorl Marsh are the only enemies that drop Bunnia Scent Wood. If you don’t get enough, fast travel back to the Glowing Obelisk and more should respawn (be brought back to life at a checkpoint after death).
  • If you die to the White Smoke Hox during the refugee escort, you will not have to fight the Black Smoke Hox again.
  • The Reconstruction Side Quest is a long-term endeavor that lasts the entire game, offering significant rewards towards the end.
  • Sending specific people to live in Colony 6 will unlock unique Quests.
