Yrliet Romance Guide: Chapter 2-4

Upon recruiting Yrliet, she will board your ship. Find her on the Upper Deck and engage in conversations about Human and Aeldari relations, asking her to teach you about her people.

After several warp jumps, Yrliet will initiate a scene in your personal quarters where she teaches you about the Aeldari mind and meditations. Select the 'deep understanding' dialogue options and strictly avoid flirtatious or 'mon’keigh' behavior to avoid failing the romance immediately.

Later, when you can free roam (the open-world mode where you move and play without an active mission) the Upper Deck, you may find Yrliet meditating. Do not interrupt her or try to wake her; allow her to continue undisturbed.

In Chapter 2, after completing the 'restoring the dynasty colony' main story missions, Yrliet may guide you into a meditative dream state in your quarters. Navigate the dream prompts for each NPC (non-player character — anyone the game controls, not you) apparition. For the final apparition of Yrliet, avoid all romantic or flirtatious options and choose calmer, more understanding choices.

In Chapter 3, after the main storyline mission, Yrliet will ask for a meeting on your palace on Dargonus, triggering a mission to an Aeldari ship. You may be ambushed by Marazhai and the Drukhari, leading to Commorragh.

In Commorragh, during the 'Reunion' quest, find Yrliet in the center of the Chasm Streets level after completing the Pit and the Malice or Commissar part of the questline. Ask her to rejoin your team, express forgiveness for her actions, and select the option where you want her to come with you and help escape together. Avoid options that force her to do things; show her you see her as an equal.

After completing the first Arena battle in Chapter 3 and taking over the Pit, speak to Yrliet. She may mention struggling to meditate due to Slanesh’s influence. Help her meditate by selecting the dialogue option to offer emotional support and choose the option involving embracing and comforting without resorting to human touch.

At the end of Chapter 3, after escaping Commorragh, you will return to your ship. Choose the option to forgive Yrliet for her actions during the Commorragh events, securing her place. Understanding her Aeldari reasoning is key.

In Chapter 4, on Quetza Temer, support Yrliet’s desire to find her kin and aid her in convincing the Aeldari to abandon their ritual to save them from Calligos Winterscale.

When you find the ritual performing Aeldari at the end of the Quetza Temer section, convince Calligos not to attack and support Yrliet as she tells the Aeldari to stand down and stop the ritual.
