The role of the Adeptus Astra Telepathica is to recruit, identify, and classify those found to possess psychic abilities. The most powerful who somehow survive the rigorous sanctioning rituals are selected to serve on the battlefield. The mind of a sanctioned psyker is steeled against the manifold dangers risked by wielders of warp powers. You were one of those found worthy to serve Humanity and have miraculously survived the perils of the warp.

Origins Ranked:

• S Tier: Sanctioned Psyker - Offers five different Psyker types. However, it's almost worthless if you don't want a mage-like class, and Veil Degradation can make the playstyle less enjoyable.
• A Tier: Crime Lord - Allows Sure-Fire Plan to be used multiple times per combat with strong buffs for the user, regardless of the action taken. It's a selfish class that predominantly only buffs the user.
• B Tier: Commissar - Acts as an AP Bot, providing AP and MP to party members. Requires using a single-shot weapon or melee; burst weapons are not ideal. Can only be used once per combat unless Summary Execution is acquired by killing a target with At All Costs! active.
• C Tier: Astra Militarum Commander - Provides great group buffs affecting damage, defenses, rate of fire, and more. Most buffs require an enemy to be nearby, making it strong at the start but less effective later in a fight.
• D Tier: Noble - Allows a party member to become a servant, granting buffs to both until combat ends, potentially increasing damage, AP, MP, Temporary Wounds, and Maximum Wounds. It's great for a favorite party member but less so for the rest of the team, though its buffs are strong.
• E Tier: Navy Officer - Primarily defensive, though it can increase your group's attack. Fantastic for tanks and melee attackers. Buffs have minimal impact on ranged characters, though they allow repositioning, a cover (press the cover button to crouch behind walls or objects) buff, and 20% increased cover penetration.
• F Tier: Ministorum Priest - Ideal if your party focuses on Heroic Acts, granting extra Momentum throughout battle, which can be crucial for victory. Also offers bonus damage and defense against daemons and warp damage. Outside of Momentum gain, other talents are situational, and you may go long periods without fighting daemons.

• Sanctioned Psyker: Reduced (-20%) chances to trigger psychic phenomena.
• Divination: Specialises in gleaning information and using it to turn fortune in your favour.
• Biomancy: Focuses on manipulating living flesh and biological processes, capable of healing wounds and altering physical characteristics.
• Telepathy: Expertise in contacting and controlling minds, able to tear away sanity, induce terror, or possess victims.
• Pyromancy: Master of flame, able to create searing infernos.
• Sanctic Powers: Used by pious psykers to protect allies and smite heretics.
• Psy Rating 0-4: Each level provides access to new psychic powers and strengthens damaging ones.
• Still Mind: Psyker's resolve increased by +(WP bonus / 2) while veil degradation is 10 or lower.
• Inscribed Soul: Costs no AP but deals direct damage to the psyker equal to 25% of maximum wounds. The next psychic power used after this ability is enhanced.
