   Chapter: 1 - Memento Mori/Friendship
   Location: Near the lower cable car station, beside the Native American butterfly sign.
   Vision: A bird lands on a table in the snow and flies away as Mike reveals himself from behind a tree.
   Meaning: Foreshadows a snowball fight choice in Chapter 1 where Jessica can throw a snowball at a bird, potentially leading to a QTE later involving Mike and Jessica.
2. Guidance Totem #2
   Found by: Chris
   Chapter: 1 - Memento Mori/Friendship
   Location: Outside the Washington Lodge, in front of Matt.
   Vision: Mike's fingers get stuck in a bear trap.
   Meaning: Warns of a trap in Chapter 5 where Mike might investigate a table with a severed arm, leading to his fingers getting caught in a bear trap.
3. Guidance Totem #3
   Found by: Mike
   Chapter: 3 - Haunted/Isolation
   Location: On the path to the cabin, to the left of the bridge after Mike gets scared by Jessica.
   Vision: Sam climbing a ledge opposite a waterwheel.
   Meaning: Hints at a collectible Clue in Chapter 10, found by going up a ledge to the left of the water wheel in the mines.
4. Guidance Totem #4
   Found by: Mike
   Chapter: 4 - Malevolence/Loyalty
   Location: In the abandoned mine building, at the bottom of the stairs on the left, after chasing Jessica.
   Vision: Mike stroking a wolf.
   Meaning: Advises the player to befriend the wolf Mike encounters in Chapter 5.
5. Guidance Totem #5
   Found by: Matt
   Chapter: 5 - Dread/Prey
   Location: Near the upper cable car station, immediately to the left upon exiting after shimmying.
   Vision: Emily giving a flare gun to Matt.
   Meaning: Suggests giving the flare gun found by Emily in Chapter 6 to Matt, as it can be crucial for his survival later on, though Emily can also keep it for herself.
6. Guidance Totem #6
   Found by: Emily
   Chapter: 6 - Psychosis/Vengeance
   Location: Near the fire tower, next to a picnic table before climbing the stairs to the radio tower.
   Vision: Chris, vexed, placing a gun on a table.
   Meaning: Implies that in a trap in Chapter 6 where Chris must choose between shooting Ashley or himself, doing nothing is the best course of action.
