Alright, so you're continuing down the path after that last bit. Keep pushing forward, and you'll hit a little picnic area. This is where things get a bit awkward.

You can take a moment to examine the picnic table. If you do, Emily's gonna get super agitated and want to bail. If you poke around more, you'll find a carving from Emily and Mike from last year – apparently, they've been here before and, uh, 'christened' the table. Matt might get a little miffed, but he'll smooth things over. Don't worry, this specific action won't change your relationship stats.

After that little scene, head over the bridge. Emily will stop you halfway across. This is your chance to talk to her and find out why she was so keen on getting that bag – turns out it has some special undies in it. You'll get a dialogue choice here:

• FLIRT: "Who needs undies?" — This choice has no status changes.
• IMPATIENT: "Why didn't you say so!" — This is where things get spicy. Matt's FUNNY and BRAVERY meters will go DOWN, but his ROMANCE meter will go UP.

Keep going until you reach a fork in the road. Emily will even pause, so it's up to you to figure out which way to go. The walkthrough suggests you should head up the stairs on the right first, towards a totem pole.

As you approach, Emily will start messing around, joking about putting her hand in the totem pole. Bad idea! Before she knows it, her whole arm gets yanked inside. Now you've got a critical choice to make:

• RESCUE EMILY!: This is the heroic move. Matt's CHARITY and BRAVERY meters will go UP, and his FUNNY meter will go UP.
• INVESTIGATE THREAT: If you're feeling curious, choosing this will raise Matt's CURIOSITY meter.
• TIME RUNS OUT: If you take too long, Emily won't be happy about being outwitted, but you won't get any status changes.
