How to Beat Soundwave & Minions (Laserbeak, Ravage)

Master the fight against Soundwave and his minions, Laserbeak and Ravage, in Transformers: Devastation. Learn strategies and tips to overcome this challenging boss encounter.

Stats / Weaknesses:

• Soundwave: Vulnerable to focused energy attacks. His sonic blasts can disorient players.
• Laserbeak: Fast aerial attacks. Weak to ranged attacks when not in direct melee.
• Ravage: Ground-based, pounces and bites. Vulnerable to area-of-effect attacks and quick dodges.

Phases:

1. Phase 1: Minion Assault - Soundwave will deploy Laserbeak and Ravage. They will attack in tandem, forcing you to divide your attention. Prioritize dodging and look for openings to damage them individually.
2. Phase 2: Soundwave's Stand - Once the minions are dealt with, Soundwave will engage directly. He uses sonic attacks and can summon his minions back if not defeated quickly. Focus on dodging his sonic waves and countering his melee attacks.
3. Phase 3: Desperation - Soundwave may enter a more aggressive state, increasing the frequency and power of his sonic attacks. Maintain defensive pressure and exploit any brief pauses in his assault.

Strategy:

• Keep moving at all times to avoid Laserbeak's aerial assaults and Ravage's pounces.
• Use the dodge mechanic effectively to evade Soundwave's sonic blasts.
• When Soundwave is vulnerable, unleash your strongest combos.
• If minions are re-summoned, try to deal with them quickly to return focus to Soundwave.
• Consider using characters with strong ranged attacks to deal with Laserbeak.
