    When terrorists on the catwalk above detect your presence, the countdown may start. This timing varies based on your actions.

    Locate the first ladder on the left side of the room. Climb it, then crouch at the top and check your light meter (aim for 0).

    Wait for the patrolling terrorist to be at the far right end of the catwalk, in the dark. Take him down with a Sticky Shocker for an instant KO.

    If both terrorists are patrolling together at the far right end of the catwalk, you can take them both down quickly with Sticky Shockers.

    Go to the bottom of the next long ladder and look up at the circular bright light. Shoot it out to prevent detection when climbing.

    Climb the second ladder. As soon as the countdown starts, move Sam to the top and silent drop onto the catwalk.

    Quickly shoot the two unconscious terrorists in the head.

    Move down the catwalk towards Soth, who will have his back to you.

    When Soth detects Sam, he will stand up and turn. Nail him with a round from the SC-20K to complete the objective.

After the mission objective is complete, Lambert will inform Sam that the ND133 has twelve minutes left on its timer, which is not enough time to evacuate the smallpox virus. Sam realizes there's an alternative to letting the ND133 detonate and cause casualties.

The neutralization of Norman Soth removes the final threat of Suhadi Sadono's 'insurance policy'. However, the final ND133 remains armed with the smallpox virus and is set to decompress. Third Echelon scrambles to alert emergency services to minimize damage.

  • Challenge 2: Complete a level using only the pistol to shoot out lights, without KOing or killing anyone.
  • Challenge 3: On levels with the SC-20K, complete the entire level using only secondary projectiles (Air Ring Foils, Smoke Grenades, Sticky Cameras, etc.) and firing no bullets.
  • Challenge 4: Complete a level as fast as possible, setting a time limit. This develops accurate snap-shot skills.
