Complete Part 18 of Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow, including finding snipers, planting explosives on Sadono's plane, and intercepting communications.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
Locate and eliminate the third sniper on a balcony halfway up the building.
  2. 2
Find the fourth sniper, who is difficult to see due to searchlights on the right. Aim up from close to the building; he will appear over the balcony edge.
  3. 3
Proceed to the extraction point, which is the alleyway entrance on the left-hand side. If you have trouble with the last sniper, you can run to the alley with a full health bar; the mission will end successfully even if you get shot once.
  4. 4
The mission opens in a jungle environment. Lambert informs you that Third Echelon is working with Douglas Shetland's mercenary company, Displace International.
  5. 5
Your first objective is to find Shetland for a briefing. Move straight ahead to find him crouching and scanning Sadono's camp.
  6. 6
After speaking with Shetland, move left near the ridge edge to find a tree stump. Tie your rappel line to it and rappel down to the tall grass below. Alternatively, use the zip line in front of Shetland.
  7. 7
Easter Egg: Shooting Shetland's binoculars around eleven times will trigger Lambert to say, "What the hell are you doing?! The mission is over!" followed by a "MISSION FAILED" screen with the message "YOU ARE OUT OF YOUR MIND."
  8. 8
Warning: From this point on, alarms are raised INSTANTLY. The first alarm causes guards to wear helmets, the second causes them to wear bulletproof vests, and the third alarm results in mission failure. Each alarm makes the level harder.
  9. 9
Crouch at the bottom of the cliff and move through the grass. To your right front is a bamboo fence with huts. Save the checkpoint (an auto-save point you restart from on death).
  10. 10
Move to the tent in front of you with a darkened side and crouch. A guard will exit a tent to the right and sit in a chair.
  11. 11
Equip the SC-20K and shoot this guard in the head.
  12. 12
Quickly move around the front of the tent, staying in shadow, and pause near the bottles on the ground. Another guard patrols nearby. You have about 5 seconds to shoot him before he spots the dead guard and raises an alarm. If he raises an alarm, Lambert will lecture you.
  13. 13
Retrieve both bodies and hide them in the tall grass.
  14. 14
Alternative Strategy: Draw the first guard into the dark area by the tent wall and KO him to save ammo. Then do the same with the patrolling guard.
  15. 15
Alternative Strategy: Sneak past both guards. This is easier while the first guard is sitting in the chair (for about 30 seconds). Stay in the tent's shadow, use the camera to see around the tent corner, and wait for the other guard to look away before sneaking to the far side of the parked truck.
  16. 16
If you shoot or KO both guards, retrieve the Ring Air Foil rounds from the booth in front of the truck.
  17. 17
Move up the far right side of the parked truck, along the darkened wall. You will hear two guards talking. One attempts to disarm a trip wire mine and blows himself up. Shoot the other guard who begins CPR.
  18. 18
    Move cautiously forward.
  19. 19
Your objective is to plant explosives on Sadono's plane.
  20. 20
Your main objective is to Trail/Intercept Sadono's Communications. 'Pandora Tomorrow' is the code phrase for Sadono's insurance policy against U.S. attack. He makes daily secure phone calls to undisclosed U.S. locations, delaying the release of the Smallpox virus one day at a time. If he is killed or detained, the virus will be released within 24 hours. Intercepting his 'Pandora Tomorrow' call is necessary to locate the virus.
Tips
  • The extraction point is the same as before: the alleyway entrance on the left-hand side.
  • If you have trouble with the last sniper, running to the alley with a mostly full health bar will result in a successful mission completion, even if you get shot once.
  • Alarms are raised INSTANTLY from the point you rappel down. The first alarm adds helmets, the second adds bulletproof vests, and the third results in mission failure.
  • If you opt for shooting your way through, your first shot MUST take out guards, as they only need about 1 second to trigger an alarm if you mess up.
  • Guards with helmets and vests are much harder to shoot, though still vulnerable to grabs.
  • You can KO guards to save ammo or sneak past them.
  • The Ring Air Foil rounds are located in the booth in front of the truck if you deal with the guards.
