Chapter 9 - Disappearance

Toru Hirose has vanished with Haruto! Follow this guide to track them down, battle Yomei thugs, and uncover the truth in The Lullaby of Life's Chapter 9.

Alright, so a new problem has popped up: Toru Hirose has gone missing, and he's taken Haruto with him. You'll start outside Shangri-La. You can wander around a bit, but don't bother with any side activities for now. Your first stop is Serena. Head there and fill in the guys on just how important Haruto is. Grab any supplies you might need, and then chat with Nagumo to get things rolling.

Back in Hiroshima, you need to make your way to Moreno. Keep an eye out on your way, because you'll run into some main family thugs. Take care of them, and then keep pushing forward. You won't be able to go east towards Hana-no-kubo just yet, so stick to the main street heading north, then turn east. You'll need to fight off a big group at the end of that street. After that, enter Hana-no-kubo from the north side and loop your way back around to Moreno. Turns out, they're all fine.

The rest of the crew will explain what's going on: Hirose apparently took Haruto and disappeared while Kiyomi was out, and there's no sign of him anywhere else. Once you stand up, head for the door. Kiyomi will then share her life story with you. After she leaves, the crew decides it's time to find Hirose. Talk to each of the guys for their ideas. Eventually, you'll have four potential leads: Kiyomi's bar, the Apollo Café in the Shopping District, Hirose HQ, and the Cemetery.

To cut to the chase and get you progressing, the lead that actually pays off is heading to Hirose HQ. Give the door a try, but you'll find it's locked. You'll need to go around the side of the building to find an open window and a ladder. Use that to get inside. Once you're in, grab the matchbox off the table. This will clue you into something called "Snack Hourglass." Leave the building, and you'll immediately be jumped by more Yomei punks. Beat them down, and then make your way to Snack Hourglass. Talk to the lady outside, and she'll send you over to the Ryunan Shrine. Head there now, specifically to the stairs located south of the shrine. This is where you'll have to face off against Koshimizu.

Boss Fight: Koshimizu

Koshimizu is armed with a knife and he's pretty aggressive with his wild swings and lunges. Your best bet is to use his own momentum against him. Dodge around behind him to land some easy hits. If you want, there's some junk near Shops Alley that you can smash him with for extra damage. Defeating Koshimizu will wrap up this chapter.
