Chapter 4 - Deception

After Nagumo expresses his affection for you, prepare to meet his patriarch, Toru Hirose, portrayed by Kitano "Beat" Takeshi.

Engage in pleasantries with Toru Hirose, then head back down to address Nagumo's subordinate Matsunaga's issues.

Head outside towards the bar Moreno. Note that Onomichi is now open for side-business, including six Substories, a seventh to start, finding cats, Troublr missions, and collecting all Safes.

Upon reaching Moreno, you will engage in a fight with a large group of enemies. Consider using Extreme Heat to defeat them quickly.

Nagumo will appear to thank you and formally introduce you to Matsunaga, who is displeased with the earlier encounter.

Remember you need to return to Haruto. Head back to Kiyomi's bar to pick him up, then return to your apartment.

The next day, go to the Hirose Office to introduce Haruto and inquire about Haruka's presence. The men will convincingly deny seeing her.

Head upstairs to greet Hirose, then return downstairs and outside. Kiyomi will inform you that the Masuzoe Family you previously encountered is searching for you.

Follow Kiyomi outside to evade groups of toughs, taking a winding route towards the Shopping Center.

At the Shopping Center, you will be confronted by a group of men. Defeat them, then continue following Kiyomi to Ryunan Shrine.

Leave Haruto with Kiyomi at Ryunan Shrine and meet back up with the Hirose men.

You can now start Baseball and Spearfishing, which unlock nine new Substories. Nagi Pharmacy in the Shopping Center is open during the day for health items.

Return to Moreno to continue the story. After a brief scene, time will fast forward to nighttime, allowing for night-only activities.

Approach Matsunaga. After his apology, Usami will report that the individuals from the bar last night were from Iwami Shipbuilding and reported the incident to the Yomei Alliance.

Matsunaga will depart to confront the Yomei men at the Hirose office and forbids your involvement. You must fight and defeat Usami and Tagashira. Tagashira is notable for his blocking ability.

Head outside to the Hirose Office, where you will face a large group of enemies, including Koji Masuzoe. Most enemies can be defeated quickly, but focus on Masuzoe.

During the fight with Masuzoe, he will call for backup. Utilize his goons for two-person Heat Actions (special attacks performed with allies).

Defeat Masuzoe to be introduced to Kanji Koshimizu, the captain of the Yomei Alliance.

Return to your apartment, where Kiyomi will bring Haruto back. The chapter concludes after a guest arrives at your door.
