Learn how to use the Salvage Arm to grab the Sun Key from the ocean floor and defeat the giant sea monster guarding Molida Island in Phantom Hourglass.

Alright, you've got the Salvage Arm! Now, let's head to that spot on your map with the weird symbol. It's time to fish something out of the deep sea.

Using the Salvage Arm is pretty straightforward. You'll see a lever at the bottom of your screen – slide it left and right to control the arm. Use the switch to control your speed: down makes you go faster, and up slows you down. Just remember, this is reversed when you're bringing the arm back up. Be super careful not to bump into anything, because unlike the ship, the Salvage Arm won't repair itself if it gets damaged. Once you've snagged that Sun Key from the ocean floor, it's time to sail back to Molida Island.

As you get close to Molida Island, get ready – a massive monster is going to pop right out of the water! You don't really have a choice here; you've got to send it packing. To start, draw a safe course around the beast on your map. Then, aim your cannon at the weak spot on its head and blast away. It'll probably pull back its weak spot and start firing globs of green goo at you. If they get too close, you can shoot them with your cannon to knock them aside. Just keep hammering that weak spot, and eventually, it'll sink back into the ocean. Once it's gone, you're free to land on Molida Island.
