Learn how to navigate the Northwestern Sea, deal with enemies and Sea Traps, and find your way through the dense fog in The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass.

Alright, you've got the Cannon now! That's a big deal. First things first, let's get you to the Northwestern Sea. You'll want to head there using the western part of the Southwestern Sea. Just plot that course on your ship's map.

Now, things are about to get a little more exciting out on the open water. From this point forward, expect to run into enemies while you're sailing. So, keep that Cannon ready to blast them out of the way! You'll also encounter these things called Sea Traps. Think of them as giant gates that block your path. You've got a couple of options here: you can either tap the jump button on the bottom screen at just the right moment to sail right through them, or you can just shoot them with your Cannon. Whatever you do, definitely don't just sail straight into one – that's a recipe for disaster!

Keep an eye out for some giant rocks blocking your way too. Make sure you clear those out before you try to pass, or you're in for a really rough ride. Once you've navigated past those, Linebeck will spot the Ghost Ship up ahead. Looks like we've got no choice but to chase after it!

Once you make it into the Northwestern Sea, keep following that Ghost Ship north. Eventually, you'll hit a point where the fog gets way too thick. It's so dense, in fact, that you'll magically get teleported back to where you started. Bummer, right? Since that path is blocked, your only real option is to head to a nearby island to see if anyone there might know how to get through that crazy fog. So, head back to the Southwestern Sea and make your way to Molida Island. It's the only island you haven't visited yet, so it's our best bet!
