Temple of Fire

Head north, avoiding ground fire, to a room with a spinning fire arm. Wait for it to pass, then run right.

Defeat the Red Chu-Chu and jump across the platforms.

Note the path indicated by the sign on the wall for a later room.

Continue downward, defeating Chu-Chus, until you reach a room where four Keese appear and the door closes.

Defeat all Keese to open the door and get a small key from a chest.

Return to the locked door and go through.

Navigate the pitfall area using the safe path indicated by the sign (marked 'X' on the map, avoid these). Grab the Red Rupee from the chest ('C') along the way.

At the end of the pitfall area, stand in the middle of the four switches and perform a spin attack to open a stone slab in the room with the spinning fire arm.

Return to that room, go through the door, and ascend the stairs to the second floor.

Head right and defeat the Red Chu-Chu, then the Gold Chu-Chu (avoid attacking it when electrified).

Hit the switch to raise blue blocks and lower red blocks.

Go back through the area where red blocks were, defeating Red and Gold Chu-Chus.

Enter a large room that closes behind you. Defeat the green slimes that appear to open the door.

Open the large chest to obtain the Boomerang, your first item. To equip it, tap the Items icon, then the Boomerang icon. To use it, have it equipped, tap the icon in the upper right of the screen or press L or R, then draw a line for its path. It travels until it hits a wall or reaches its limit.

Head to the right side of the room and use the Boomerang to hit the switch on the platform above the lava pit, clearing the fire on the left side of the room.

Go left and up to a room with two torches that shoot fire. Avoid the fire and use the Boomerang to hit the two torches on the far left. This extinguishes one torch and clears the fire blocking your path.

Take the newly cleared path and go down the stairs.

Defeat the Gold Chu-Chu that greets you.

A springy rock in the corner can offer hints or show treasure chest locations for 20 Rupees.

Stand to the right of the lowered red blocks and use the Boomerang to hit the switch around the corner, raising the red blocks and lowering the blue ones on the south side.

Go through and down the stairs, defeating the Gold Chu-Chu.

On a ledge to the left, use the Boomerang to hit the switch around the curve, clearing the fire leading back to the first big room.

Head south into a room that closes behind you, where two Red Bubbles appear. Use the Boomerang to clear the fire around their skulls, then attack with your sword. You must draw a line that intersects their path to hit them with the Boomerang.

Head up the stairs.

On the next floor, you'll encounter two small spinning fire arms and two Fire Keese. Use the Boomerang to kill the Fire Keese.

Go to the south end of the room and pull the lever.

Head back up and jump across a gap onto a platform with a spinning fire arm. Follow its path to reach the other side.

Jump across again and kill a third Fire Keese to reveal a chest with a Red Rupee.

Head south again and pull the lever at the end to open the stone door near the stairs.

Go back to the door, stand just outside, and use the Boomerang to defeat the rat carrying a key.

Grab the key. Jump back across the platforms and go right.

Use the Boomerang to hit the switch, lowering the red blocks.

Use the Boomerang again to daze the Octorok and defeat it.

Stand between the red and blue blocks and use the Boomerang to hit the switch again, lowering the blue blocks.

Use the key on the locked door and go up the stairs.
