Navigate the Temple of Courage in The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. Includes puzzles, enemy strategies, and item locations like the square crystal.
Walkthrough
- 1Proceed straight north, past two rolling spike logs, then east past a third.
- 2Go south to a spinning disc trap. Step briefly in its path, then immediately out of the way when it moves.
- 3Move through the small passage where the disc was, and be quick as it will not be gone for long.
- 4Proceed around and step on the switch to open the door back to the first room.
- 5Head up the stairs and across the bridge to find a small key.
- 6Go back down the bridge and proceed back through the entrance or the spinning disk room to reach the locked door.
- 7Proceed through and around to a room with two worms. Hit the red spot at the back of their tails to defeat them, avoiding the rest of them.
- 8Proceed through the door and down the stairs.
- 9On the next level, step on the large moving block to the left of the stairs and ride it across.
- 10Defeat the armored bug by striking it with your sword until it falls off the edge.
- 11Step onto the next moving block, then onto another block halfway across the gap.
- 12Use your Boomerang to hit the switch to the north before proceeding up the stairs.
- 13Upstairs, avoid the green slimes and moving chain of electric balls. Kill the slimes.
- 14Make your way north past the lowered red blocks to a room with two stone slabs.
- 15Note the information: monsters with big ears are vulnerable to loud sounds, and the sequence is Up, Down, Right, then Left. This applies to the entire temple.
- 16Grab a bomb and blow a hole in the wall between the two stone tablets.
- 17In the next room, open the chest containing a Ship Part and the other chest containing a Power Gem.
- 18Observe the map on the wall showing a path for the invisible floor in the basement. Mark this path.
- 19Head back to the stone blocks, blow them up, and defeat the Green Chu-Chu by first stunning it with your Boomerang then attacking. Attacking head-on will cause it to shrink into the ground.
- 20Proceed south past more Green Chu-Chus, then step on the switch to the east.
- 21Head up the nearby platform to find a Monster with Large Ears. Yell into the microphone (mic) to make it sensitive to loud sounds, then slash it once to defeat it.
- 22Grab the key it drops, then go back to the locked door and head upstairs.
- 23On the second floor, navigate the maze of blocks using the lever order: Up, Down, Right, then Left.
- 24Pull the north lever (1), then head west, south, and east to find the south lever (2).
- 25Head east, then north to find the east lever (3), and then directly across the room is the west lever (4).
- 26A chest containing the square crystal will appear at the indicated spot (C) after pulling all four levers in the correct order.
- 27Carry the square crystal to the nearest platform to the south and place it upon the square pedestal, opening the nearby stone slab.
- 28Head through the door and down the stairs.
- 29In the basement, navigate the invisible floor between the stone pillars using the path marked on your map. Avoid or knock off armored bugs. Falling off sends you back to the start.
- 30While crossing the longest part of the path, just south of the stairs you came in on, take a secret invisible path directly south to a chest containing a Big Green Rupee.
