Masked Jungle Warrior, Odolwa

Learn how to defeat the Masked Jungle Warrior, Odolwa, in Woodfall Temple! This guide covers Odolwa's attacks and the best strategy to beat him with the Deku Mask.

Stats / Weaknesses:

• Weak spot: Head (when taunting/dancing)

Phases:

1. Odolwa will dance and taunt, exposing his head.
2. You'll need to stun him to create an opening.
3. Attack his head when stunned.
4. Repeat until defeated.

Strategy:

• Keep your distance initially. Odolwa has a Dashing Slash that you can avoid with a side hop, and a Leg Kick if you get too close.
• He can also summon moths, bugs, or rocks by dancing.
• The arena has Deku Bombs and Deku Flowers. Use the Deku Flowers!
• Dive into a Deku Flower and use a Deku Nut to stun Odolwa when he exposes his head.
• Quickly switch to Link (take off the Deku Mask) and perform several leaping slashes on his head for maximum damage.
• Repeat this process about three or four times. It sounds simple, but it's a very effective strategy for an easy victory.
