Complete all challenges in The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction, including Fast Mover, Rooftop Jumping, Batter Up!, and more. Learn strategies for each.
Walkthrough
- 1Check your in-game maps (a small map displayed on your screen, often in a corner) often for new challenges, as more usually become available after every chapter and some story missions. Challenges you cannot do yet appear as gray stars on the screen.
- 2Fast Mover 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6: These are race-against-time minigames where you must collect all the tokens as fast as possible. Tokens appear as green markers on your minimap (a small map displayed on your screen, often in a corner) and as red or blue balls on the main screen. You must grab them in order; the blue ball is always the next one you must grab, and the reds are for later. The faster your time, the more Smash Points you will earn.
- 3Rooftop Jumping 1 and 2: These are jumping challenges where you must get as far as possible from the starting marker, staying on rooftops only. If you touch the ground, the challenge ends. Rooftop Jumping 2 allows the use of Climb and Wall-Run, but Rooftop Jumping 1 is jumping-only. The more distance you cover (press the cover button to crouch behind walls or objects), the better your score.
- 4Batter Up!: In this challenge, you use a club to swat soldiers jumping from a Huey helicopter as far as possible. Charge your swings for extra power. The greater the distance you hit the soldiers, the greater your score. You have a time limit.
- 5S.W.A.T.: Similar to Batter Up!, but the goal is the amount of soldiers hit, not distance. Four Hueys surround your rooftop, and one to three soldiers jump out of each in a random sequence. Hit as many as possible with your club within the time limit.
- 6Hulk Float! and Hulk Float Again!: These challenges involve hang gliding using a giant gorilla balloon from a roof to the center of a ring of flares. If you wall run, climb, or touch the ground, the challenge ends. If you are outside the ring of flares at that time, you fail. Your score is based on how close you are to the flare in the center of the circle when you land.
- 7Surf City: This minigame involves Shield Grinding. You start with a Shield and must use it like a surfboard to move around the map and collect as many blue ball tokens as possible within the time limit. You must have the Shield Grind move to do this challenge.
- 8Hulk's Rooftop! Hulk's!: You must stay on a rooftop while Missile Soldiers, Comanches, and Hulkbuster Infantry try to knock you off with attacks. The longer you stay on the rooftop, the better your score.
- 9Urban Golf: You have a club and must hit a large ball towards a flag, using as few swings as possible. Charge your swings for extra distance.
- 10House of Cars: Grab a car, run up a building, and place the car on the roof. Repeat as often as possible within the time limit. The more cars you get up the building, the better your score. Mastery of Running Grab, wall running, and jumping is helpful.
- 11Kick The Can: Get the car to the circle of flares as quickly as possible by smacking it around. You are not allowed to carry the car. Charge your slaps for distance.
- 12Hulk Smash City!: Smash as much stuff as possible within the time limit. The more objects you smash, the bigger your score. Use your momentum to destroy trees, vehicles, and lampposts. Pick up objects and throw them at other objects.
Tips
- Fast Mover: Move fast and keep moving, always toward the next token. Grab the blue ones, and keep all the red ones you can in sight so you're set up in case one of them is next to turn blue. Skillful use of all movement options (run, jump, climb, wall run, and air dash) is necessary.
- Rooftop Jumping: Practice your jumping, and use the movement stick and air dashes to aim for rooftops.
- Batter Up!: Be quick and keep practicing. Hit as many soldiers as you can within the time limit and keep trying to knock them farther and farther.
- Hulk Float! and Hulk Float Again!: Charge your initial jump to get height and float farther. Use your movement stick for steering around obstacles, and Air Dash for more distance. A fully-charged jump from your starting point can get you the necessary distance without the Air Dash.
- Hulk's Rooftop! Hulk's!: Dodge a lot, keep moving, and beat up the Hulkbusters as they come in. Use Missile Catch and Missile Punchback (if available) to knock back enemy missiles.
- Urban Golf: Try not to bounce the ball off objects, as the laws of physics do not work in your favor here.
- House of Cars: Mastery of Running Grab, wall running, and jumping will help.
- Kick The Can: The Punt Kick move is very useful; a fully-charged punt kick off the rooftop can send the car very far. It's not best to rely solely on this, though, as it doesn't go as far when hitting buildings.
- Hulk Smash City!: Go after trees, vehicles, and lampposts. Pick up objects and throw them at other objects.
