Part 18

Evade shots from Bradleys, Abrams, and MRLSes while pursuing the first truck.

Damage the truck by pummeling, throwing objects, or other means. Use Jump Markers to cover (press the cover button to crouch behind walls or objects) distance if you fall too far behind.

Consider using Tornado Frenzy or Drop Kick combos to down Comanches before attacking the truck.

After destroying the truck, eliminate the remaining tanks in the canyons to build Smash Points and ease future encounters.

Destroy highway bridges around the canyon to impede future convoys.

The first convoy heads south through the map's center canyon, then into Branson. Look for the red circle on your map if you lose sight of it.

Use a Shield to block tank fire and employ smash attacks or boomerang throws at trucks. Utilize Air Sonic Clap and Air Ground Slam to scatter enemies.

After destroying the convoy and recovering health with green orbs, return to the Supply Depot (green circle on the map).

Approach the Supply Depot again to trigger the second convoy. It has two trucks and no Bradleys, but new MRLSes, Bradleys, and Abrams tanks appear.

Dodge enemy fire using Air Recovery and Air Dash.

This convoy heads through the far east canyon towards Branson. Destroying bridges will significantly slow it down.

Eliminate both trucks and then focus on remaining tanks and bridges.

Sweep west through the canyons and circle the town on your way back to the Supply Depot.

Recover health and destroy any tanks encountered on the way back.

Upon approaching the Supply Depot again, the third convoy departs. It has the same units as the last, but is escorted by two Hulkbuster Infantry Units instead of Comanches.

New tanks have also appeared. Hulkbusters are more maneuverable than Comanches and deal more damage with combos and charged fists.

Be aware that Hulkbusters can grab you for damaging combos and can block your attacks. Hit them fast and hard to counter.

Clubs are effective, but Hulkbusters are quick and evade thrown objects. Use Jump Markers if you lose the trucks.

This convoy heads west through the town at high speed, then west and south through the canyons. Destroyed bridges will be useful here.

Destroy both trucks as soon as possible. If you took the recommended route back to the Supply Depot, you may be able to intercept this convoy.

Once the trucks are down, Mission Complete. Save your game.

You may want to destroy the remaining escorts from the last convoy, but be aware the Emergency Response Meter is active, before returning to the Church.

Chapter 2, Mission 3: Headhunter begins near the Restricted Area 102 Jump Marker.

Samson requires a Hulkbuster neural interface from an unpiloted mech.

A Hulkbuster demonstration is occurring at Branson Military Base. Practice jumping and Air Combos before starting. Activate the green star to begin.

Two Hulkbuster Infantry Units will attack at the start. They lock on from above, fire machine guns, then circle with fists ready. They may shoot missiles from a distance and charge combos up close.

Grabbing a Hulkbuster can immobilize it for combos.

The yellow circle on your map indicates the target area within Branson.

As you advance, you will encounter two more Hulkbusters, an Abrams tank, and respawning Soldiers.

The tunnel shield is gone, but a shield remains on the mountain pass above.
