How to Beat Two-Head Biophage

Stats / Weaknesses:

• The Two-Head Biophage is a mutated human enemy.
• It attacks aggressively with melee strikes.
• It can attack multiple times in quick succession.
• Dismembering its arms is a key strategy.

Phases:

1. The Biophage will attack with a series of melee strikes.
2. After dodging, create an opening to attack with RT.
3. Continue dodging and attacking until its arms are dismembered.
4. Once arms are gone, finish off the weakened Biophage.

Strategy:

• Master Dodging: The core of defeating the Biophage lies in its attack patterns. You must dodge its swings by flicking the Left Stick (LS) left or right just as the enemy winds up. Alternating dodges (left, then right, then left again) is crucial as it can attack up to three times consecutively. Perfect dodges (flicking the LS much earlier than expected) can trigger slow-motion, making subsequent dodges easier and contributing to the 'Float Like A Butterfly' achievement.
• Counter-Attack: After successfully dodging an attack or a series of attacks, you'll have a brief window to strike back using the Right Trigger (RT). Don't get greedy; land a few hits and prepare to dodge again.
• Dismemberment for Achievement: The 'Flesh Wound' achievement requires you to sever both arms of a living enemy. Focus your attacks on the Biophage's arms to achieve this. Dismembering its arms significantly weakens it and makes the rest of the fight much easier.
• Use Health Injectors: If you take significant damage, don't hesitate to use a health injector. These are found in the environment or can be crafted.
• Stomp to Finish: Once an enemy is downed, remember to stomp on its body with the Y button to ensure it's dead and prevent potential reanimation.
