All Steam Achievements Guide

Unlock every achievement in The Callisto Protocol with our comprehensive guide. Learn how to get Mugshot, The Outer Way, Desperate Times, Flesh Wound, and Float Like A Butterfly.

This guide will help you unlock all achievements in The Callisto Protocol in a single playthrough, playing on the Maximum Security difficulty. The game has been made easier by recent patches, making the hardest difficulty manageable. We will cover collectibles and achievement requirements as we progress through the story.

Chapter 1:

Start a new game on Maximum Security. Upon gaining control of Jacob Lee, pause the game and enter Photo Mode to take a picture for the Mugshot achievement. Continue down the hallway and enter the first locker on your left to find the first Bio (1/43). Proceed to the cargo bay where you will learn movement mechanics like vaulting and mantling. Approaching the flaming hole in the ship will unlock the The Outer Way achievement.

Chapter 2:

After a brief dream sequence, you'll awaken in prison. Follow the path to meet Elias, who will give you a shiv, unlocking the Desperate Times achievement. Use the shiv to open Elias's cell and proceed. The game will then teach you combat mechanics: hold left or right on the analog stick before an attack to dodge, then attack with RT. Alternate dodges for combos. You'll fight two inmates and then your first Biophage. During combat, you can dismember enemies to unlock the Flesh Wound achievement by taking off both arms. After unlocking Elias's cell, follow the path to an elevator. Downstairs, you'll encounter another Biophage. Here, you can learn to perform perfect dodges by flicking the left stick as an enemy winds up for an attack. Performing 5 perfect dodges will unlock the Float Like A Butterfly achievement. Continue through the prison, collecting Callisto Bucks and materials from breakable boxes. You will find a Gate Fuse to unlock a door and a Bio (2/43) on a ledge.
