First off, after a scene, make sure to watch the skit (Traces of the Toy Peddler). Then, head over to the girl standing by the Item Shop. Talking to her will update the Teppo sub-event. You'll also want to check out the vendor across the street from the Item Shop – they sell Ice Pops. Buying these might get you a Win Stick or a Lose Stick. Over on the west side of the street, there's a Jet Black Feather Trader. This guy is important because you can trade in those feathers you've been collecting for some really neat items.
