Dahngrest

Your guide to Dahngrest in Tales of Vesperia! Find shops, inns, complete side quests like the Wonder Chef and Bunny Guild, and know when to fight.

Alright, you've made it to Dahngrest! It's a pretty big town, so let's break it down. As soon as you enter, you'll notice a shop to your right. Across the street, you'll find an Inn and another shop. Take a moment to get your bearings.

Head north for a scene, then make your way to the center of town for another scene. After that, go south for yet another scene. Things are about to get a bit hectic, as you'll be thrown into two battles back-to-back. Just power through them!

After the fights, follow the path to your left and enter the Tavern Sagittarius. Once inside, check the drawer on the left side of the room multiple times. You'll snag a Panacea Bottle, an Orange Gel, and an Apple Gel. Now, head into the right room and do the same with its drawer – this time you'll find a Holy Bottle, a Dark Bottle, and a Limit Bottle. Pretty good loot!

Exit the tavern and take the northwest path nearby. Get ready, because you'll enter another battle shortly after.

Once that's done, take the path in the center of the city leading north. You'll trigger another scene. After that, head inside the building to the north – this is the Guild's Union HQ.

Dahngrest Side Quests

While you're in Dahngrest, there are a few important side quests to keep an eye on:

• Wonder Chef: Part 5: Inside the Guild's Union HQ, look for the Wonder Chef in the top right part of the room. He'll teach you the Minestrone Soup recipe. Don't miss this!
• Learn The Recipe For Miso Soup: After learning Minestrone Soup, you'll need to have Estelle cook it. Keep having her cook until she learns the recipe for Miso Soup.
• Learn The Recipe For Clam Chowder: Similar to the last one, have Estelle cook the Miso Soup recipe until she learns the recipe for Clam Chowder.
• Bunny Guild: Back at the Guild's Union HQ, there's a man in the top left. As you collect more Titles throughout your adventure, revisit him. He'll reward you with unique items for your progress. Make sure to check in with him periodically!

Once you've handled your business in town, leave through the west exit. You'll enter a forested area. Just keep following the path until you spot a very dark green patch of trees – that's your next destination. Good luck!
