Mt. Killaraus

Check the area around the entrance to Mt. Killaraus for a Gloire des Mousseux Sash.

Head into the cave for the skit Watch Out for Erupting Volcano.

Head east to a split and take the north path to the dead end with an Arcane Bottle.

Backtrack and follow the path to the next area.

Continue north until you reach the central area and check behind the boulder for a Red Sage.

Head west to another split.

Check the dead end to the west for a Drop Bottle.

Continue south, checking the southern wall for a Pinion Ring.

Follow the path to trigger the skit Before the Final Battle....

Exit to the northeast and follow the path until you encounter Shigure.

Boss: Shigure (3) (HP: 106793) - Person. Weakness: Fire. Resistance: Wind. Shigure is much stronger than before, with increased stats in all field and a much more aggressive arsenal of artes that increase his Attack power or decrease yours. Shigure's attacks are fairly easy to sidestep, since they strike the area directly in front of him, and most of the attacks can be blocked by guarding. The only attack you really need to watch out for his Rangetsu Owl combo, which does massive damage even when blocked. Shigure's Mystic Arte can be countered by having Rokurou alive and in the active party. Make sure he uses his Mystic Arte in battle if you want the trophy for seeing all Mystic Artes in the game. Drops: None.

Watch the skit Yozakara Anmitsu after the fight.

Speak with Morgrim for a conversation.

Examine Shigure's Stormhowl blade for the skit Rokurou's True Feelings.

Exit the other end of the cavern for a scene.

Activate the skit It's Freezing! It's Scorching!.

Follow the path north.

When the path bends east, check the northern dead end for a Mythril Doll.

Approach the Code Red Hunt.

Boss: Titan (HP: 37380) - Armored, Fiend. Weakness: Neutral. Resistance: Fire, Earth. The Titan uses heavy wind-based attacks to do massive damage with its brute force and has an extremely high Defense stat that makes doing damage a pain, especially since he automatically reduces all damage by 30. Make sure you're using artes that only strike his weakness and avoid his resistances, as he'll reflect that damage, including making sure your equipped weapon doesn't add any elemental attacks that could reflect back on you. This fight is more of an endurance race, as the Titan is slow and strong, and you'll just have to grind through his high HP to finish the battle. Drops: Juggernaut's Glacite.

Unlock the Katz Box for an Earring (Left).

Continue to trigger the skit Changed People.

Continue south and hop across the lava.

Check the dead end to the east for a Soul Bottle.

Exit to the southeast.

Head east at the split for a chest with 11500 Gald.

Backtrack and follow the path north until you reach another split.

Check the southern path for a dead end with a Drop Bottle.

Head back to the split and check the northwest corner of the area for a Red Lavender.

Head east to trigger the skit The Exorcists' Shadow.

Continue to the next area.

Follow the narrow path to the right to a plateau with a Mythril Earrings and S. Tempering Powder.

Head back and enter the other tunnel for the skit Odds of Victory.

Follow the path south, past the eastern exit.

Check the northwest corner of the next room for a Mythril Talisman.

Head south to collect the geotree.

Backtrack to the eastern exit and glide over the gap to search the area with an Elixir, Soul Bottle, and Red Verbena.

Return to the previous area and exit to the south.

Follow the path to find Melchior on the edge of the cliff.

Boss: Demi-Melchior (HP: 117888) - Person. Weakness: Wind. Resistance: Water, Earth. Melchior primarily uses the orbs circling around him to perform non-elemental and earth-based attack artes, when he's not casting powerful malak artes. The attacks from his orbs are easily avoided by keeping your distance or attacking his sides and back, his casting artes are extremely dangerous. Watch out for his Soul Landslide attack, which bombards the attacker in front of him with multiple strikes from the orbs, and Illusory Chill, which shoots a blast of icy water. The most dangerous artes in his arsenal are the huge AOE arte Gravity Storm, which does multiple waves of wind and earth damage that can easily kill your characters if un-blocked, and his Mystic Arte. Make sure he uses his Mystic Arte in battle if you want the trophy for seeing all Mystic Artes in the game. Drops: None.

After the cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically), watch the skits The Empyreans Awaken, No Eruption...So Far, Avenging Aifread, and Are You Hungry?.

With the geoboard now available, return to the second area of Mt. Killaraus.
