Hey there! So, you've reached Hexen Isle in Tales of Berseria Remastered. Don't worry, it's not a huge area to explore on this visit, but there are a couple of handy items to grab before you trigger the next story event.

Quick Grab: Before heading south for the cutscene, make sure to snag the Red Saffron right by the Calix monolith and the Red Rosemary near the monolith to the west.

Boss Fight: Hellkite

Alright, now for the main event on Hexen Isle – the Hellkite! This dragon is no joke, so let's get you prepped.

Stats / Weaknesses

• HP: 110637
• Weakness: Neutral, Water
• Resistance: Fire, Earth

Phases

1. The Hellkite will fight you, eventually healing to full health after a cutscene partway through the battle.
2. You'll need to defeat it again after it heals.

Strategy

• Gear Up: Since the Hellkite has serious fire-based attacks, equip gear that boosts your fire resistance.
• Positioning is Key: Attack its sides or back. Its tail is just as dangerous as its mouth, so be aware of that.
• Dodge Big Moves: When it rears up on its hind legs for Neigh or Seize, back away immediately! These attacks can break through your guard.
• Let Allies Tank: Keep your distance from its mouth to avoid most breath attacks and Calamity Flare. Your party members can help tank a lot of the damage.
• Second Round: Remember, it heals about halfway through. Be ready for a second phase of the fight.

It's interesting to note that Laphicet's silver flame is a nod to Zestiria, a gift from Lailah to Sorey for purifying Hellions. Also, a bit of a spoiler, but Silva will stick around on Hexen Isle until Sorey encounters him later, transformed into The Dragon Zombie.
