Alright, let's get through this next stretch of the Danann Highway. When you wake up, the first thing you'll want to do is head out of the tavern. You'll trigger the skit A Refreshing Morning right away, so enjoy that. After that, keep an eye out for two more skits: Secrets of the Sylphjays and Malak Ranks. They're pretty quick and give you some good lore.

Now, head east and chat with the woman there. Then, find the guy near the eastern exit – he seems a bit out of place in Loegres, but talk to him anyway. Next up is the cathedral. Head there and let Magilou have her moment with the priest; it's an important scene. Back in the center of town, go north and speak with the man on the east side. After that, make your way west to find a sailor. Talking to him will show you the immediate effects of Gideon's 'disappearance,' which is pretty wild.

With all that done, you can finally leave town and make your way towards Port Zekson. As you cross the bridge on the Danann Highway, you'll get another skit called What Am I?. Don't miss it!

Once you reach the pier in Port Zekson, find the pirate standing near the ship. Talk to him – this will make time advance to dusk. Now, you'll need to find two event bubbles around the area. Go to both of them and speak with Rokurou and Eizen. After that, head back to the docks and find Magilou. She'll trigger the skit Passing the Time. Then, head north and talk to Laphicet on the northern pier; a cutscene will play out.

You're almost done with this section! Head towards the eastern exit of Port Zekson. You'll get the skit Scouting Report with Eizen and Benwick. After that, follow Eizen; he'll lead you back to the Danann Highway for another scene.

Boss Fight: Mysterious Malak & Eizen

Get ready, because this is a tricky one. You'll be facing the Mysterious Malak (HP: 21646) and Eizen (HP: 16984) at the same time. Neither has a specific weakness, and the Malak resists Earth while Eizen resists Water. The weirdest part? They're both allies and enemies, meaning they'll attack anyone nearby, including each other! This is actually helpful, as they'll chip away at each other's health.

Strategy:

• Focus on Eizen first since he has lower HP. Just be careful not to use Water-based attacks since he resists them.
• Since they tend to stay close due to fighting each other, Velvet's Area of Effect (AoE) Break Souls attacks are perfect for hitting both at once.
• Once Eizen is down, switch your focus to the Mysterious Malak. Use non-elemental or non-Earth abilities for maximum damage.
• Don't hesitate to unleash a Mystic Arte if you have the BG (Blast Gauge) built up – it can really speed things up.

Drops: Smoldering Glacite, Armory Acerite I

After that tough fight, you'll get the skit I'm Sorry, Eizen. Now, you need to backtrack south through the Danann Highway. Exit through the southeast to reach the upper section of the river near Galles Lake Road. Keep to the upper path and grab the Life Bottle you'll find there.

Head back to the previous area and go southwest. In the corner, you'll find a chest containing an Apple Gel. Then, follow the northern ledge until you can pass through the center. Continue north to access the hill directly east of the entrance to Port Zekson. Up here, you'll find some Sage. Finally, circle around the outside of this hill to the north to snag another Life Bottle. Once you've got all that, you can head back to the northeast exit to reach the Empyrean's Throne.
