Guide yourself through Hellawes (2) in Tales of Berseria Remastered, including the boss fight against Teresa and her malakhim allies. Learn strategies and drops.

Alright, let's get back to Hellawes! First things first, chat up the woman standing near the church. She's got some extra info about that volcano up north. After that, find the shipping guild and talk to them. You'll get a cutscene, and then it's tutorial time! You'll learn about Equipment Enhancements, so follow along to upgrade your gear. Specifically, you'll want to dismantle that Blood Blade you've got. Also, take a moment to dismantle any duplicate gear cluttering up your inventory – it's a good habit to get into!

Once you're done with that, head out to Figahl Icecaps. You'll trigger the skit Sailing Isn't Easy. After that, make your way south towards your ship; another skit, Can Daemons Become Human Again, will pop up. Then, speak with those shipping guild members again.

After the next cutscene, head back to Hellawes. You'll get another scene and the skit Hellawes on Guard. Now, it's time to head to Hadlow Hollow. As you approach the entrance, make sure to watch the skits A Villain's Approach and Maintaining Blades. Once you're inside, head northeast and warp to the Hollow's depths. Go north to find Dyle, and after a cutscene and the skit Rokurou's Debt, you'll need to backtrack to the Hollow's entrance for another chat with Dyle. Outside, catch the skit That Reminds Me... before heading to Hellawes' main gate. You'll have to deal with two abbey orderlies first.

Enter Hellawes and make your way to the objective marker. A scene will play, and then you'll face waves of orderlies. Don't sweat these guys too much; they're pretty weak, easy to stun, and don't have a lot of health. You should have plenty of extra souls to burn to get through this fight quickly.

Boss: Teresa (HP: 6664)

Stats / Weaknesses:

  • Weakness: Water
  • Resistance: Water
  • Type: Person

Strategy:

  • Teresa herself isn't too threatening damage-wise, but her attacks come with nasty buffs for her or debuffs for your party. Her Full Moon attack lowers your Arte Defense, which is a real pain when those two tethered malakhim are around. She also has buffs like Defense Up and Attack Up.
  • Your first priority should be taking down those two malakhim. Use non-elemental attacks since they don't seem to have a specific weakness. Try to interrupt their spells whenever possible to prevent them from damaging your AI-controlled party members.
  • Once the malakhim are down, switch your focus to Teresa. Exploit her Water weakness using artes like Twin Whip. If you've got a surplus of souls, don't hesitate to go all out with Break Souls!
  • Sometimes you can corner Teresa and just wail on her, but keep an eye out for her Northern Lights attack when her health gets low.

Drops: Paladin's Ventite
