World 2-Castle

Ride on a flat moving platform atop the lava. This platform only moves when you are standing on it. Jump over obstacles and enemies.

Watch out for brick ledges overhead that flip over, dumping Buzzy Beetles.

To get Star Coin #1, jump from the vertical brick ledges below it when it appears floating overhead.

After reaching the checkpoint (a point where you can restart if you fail), hit the blocks ahead to get a Leaf (a power-up).

Continue on the next moving platform. Hit the middle block in the formation ahead and grab the springboard that appears.

Avoid fireballs jumping out from below. Use the springboard to reach Star Coin #2, which swings back and forth above.

Carry the springboard onward. For the brick walls blocking the way, place the springboard on the platform and jump over the walls.

Stand on the other end of the springboard so it slides through. Keep holding it so rotating brick walls in the lava do not knock it away.

When you reach the red pipe hanging above, bounce into it to reach a new room.

In the new room, jump around in the coin outlines to make coins appear, but do not collect them yet.

Hit the left blocks and trigger the P switch, which turns the coins into blocks.

Jump up the temporary ledges to grab Star Coin #3 at the top.

After the switch reverts, collect the coins, then exit via the opposite end.

You will land next to the boss door. When ready, enter to face Iggy Koopa.

Iggy Koopa rides in a capsule pulled by a Chain Chomp along a track. Jump on Iggy's head to attack.

The Chain Chomp will become angry and carry them offscreen before returning, moving more quickly. You can see where they will emerge by the dust kicked up beforehand.

The Chain Chomp will turn to follow you as it moves across the room, so keep this in mind when avoiding it.

Attack Iggy three times to win the battle.
