World 1-A

Start by going right, avoiding or defeating Piranha Plants and other enemies.

You will find bricks covering a one-way door with a downward arrow. Ground pound through the bricks to fall into a room below and collect Star Coin #1.

Go through the one-way door to the right and enter the pipe to be launched back above.

Continue right to another pipe at the end. Enter it to be launched upward by the checkpoint (a marker that saves your progress).

From the checkpoint, you can either wall jump between pipes to the left to access an area with many extra coins, or proceed right. Both paths converge later.

If you choose the path without the coin bonus, defeat the giant Piranha Plant and other enemies with fireballs.

Reach the bonus coin block and drop through the first one-way door below it.

Walk left onto the second one-way door, just enough for the first one to retract upwards. Then, go right and collect Star Coin #2.

Continue downward, avoiding or defeating Piranha Plants.

At the bottom, go right and jump on the Paratroopa.

You will see a structure with four pipe openings, each with Piranha Plants. Defeat the plant on the left and drop down.

Jump upward to reveal a hidden block between the pipes. Jump on it and enter the pipe to the left of the four-sided structure.

In this hidden room, defeat the giant Piranha Plant and go down to reach Star Coin #3.

Exit the hidden room and continue to the flagpole (the goal of the level).
