Enter the yellow pipe to access the underground area.

Go right across rotating platforms, some with Pokeys, and use a springboard at the checkpoint (an auto-save point you restart from on death) to reach bonus coin blocks and an ability block.

Defeat the Pokey on a moving platform, then jump to the upper-right ledge.

Hit a Buzzy Beetle once, grab its shell, and drop to a lower ledge.

Throw the shell at the POW block in the wall to reveal a hidden pipe.

Enter the bottom yellow pipe to reach the next area.

Go left and knock a Buzzy Beetle into the gap with Piranha Plant pipes to clear them.

Drop down and collect Star Coin #1.

Exit via the right pipe.

Jump on a nearby Buzzy Beetle once, take its shell, and jump to the upper-left ledge.

Toss the shell into the opening below to hit a POW block, creating a path of bricks.

Drop to ground level, defeat Goombas heading right, and jump over the Goomba pipe to get Star Coin #2.

Go through the one-way door and hit the higher blocks for a Leaf.

Clear Pokeys on the moving platforms with a red ring in the middle.

Jump onto the highest platforms in the right column.

From there, jump to the upper-right block platform to reveal a new path above.

Jump up the square ledges with POW blocks (use a Midas Flower if available).

Run and jump to grab Star Coin #3 in the air at the top.

Follow the line of coins as you land below.

Enter the pipe to be launched outside.

Past the remaining Pokeys, jump up the final ledges before the flagpole.
