Seaport of Cotto

Explore the Seaport of Cotto in Star Ocean: The Divine Force, finding items like Mixed Berries and completing quests.

Upon entering Cotto, you will be placed in a battle against an Aucerius Kingdom Corporal, two Aucerius Kingdom Archers, and an Aucerius Kingdom Soldier. After this encounter, you will meet Theo, a Commander who knows Midas. Meeting Theo in Cotto earns you the Helgar's Disease Revisited Trophy/Achievement.

Follow Theo to his office at the end of the docks. Before heading out to collect medicinal ingredients on the mountain, you should explore Cotto and check in on Welch.

Quests

New quests are available in the Seaport of Cotto:

• Talk to the Corporal Swallowing His Pride on the dock beside the western large ship to accept the quest, The Immortal Knight. You can complete this quest immediately.
• A return to Hallowed Mount Galcas-Lemthas allows you to complete the quest, When I Sleep and When I Wake.
• After completing the quest, A Trekker's Charm, find the Still Undaunted Explorer at the second slip on the south side of the docks in Rythal. He will offer the quest, A Ticket's Destination?, which you can complete immediately.
• After finishing A Ticket's Destination?, find the Even Still Undaunted Explorer at the Shop in Cotto. He will offer The Man with No Plan quest. You can fulfill its condition now, but you cannot report back until you reach the Capital.

Private Actions

You can view new Private Actions in Rythal and Delryk:

• Raymond and Elena can trigger Coffee Withdrawals in Rythal.
• Laeticia and Elena can trigger Superhuman Beauty in Delryk.

You may want to return to Delryk to check on Welch. You will see a scene, but she will not have new demands if you have already completed her request, Welch the Smithy. Then, you can return to Cotto to explore the city.

Explore the north side of the street near the town entrance for Breakables and a Collection Point. Behind a building near the west wall of the Inn, a chest contains Mixed Berries. Inside a home, another chest holds the Tynave playing piece.

Around the large buildings at the west end of the docks, destroy pots for items. On the roof of the north building, gather DUMA Point Crystals. On the roof of the south building, find a Collection Point and a chest containing the Berserker playing piece.

To reach the deck of the large ship east of these buildings, fly over from the roof of the south building. On the quarter deck at the south end is a Collection Point. On the main deck, a chest holds an Amber Pendant. On the foredeck, find a large DUMA Point Crystal and three more in the background. Look down from these crystals to find a line of four DUMA Point Crystals leading back to the dock.

Follow the main road east in front of the Inn. Between the Inn and the Infirmary, on top of a stone building, find a large DUMA Point Crystal. Inside the Infirmary, in the east room along the north wall, is a Collection Point. Behind the tavern (east of the Infirmary), a chest contains Mechanical Gears. Another chest behind the building east of the tavern contains a Shrimp and Mayo Umaibō.

South of the building with Theo's office, there is a Collection Point in the lawn. Near the town gate, on the lower level beside the main road on the south, find a Breakable at the west end and a Breakable with DUMA Point Crystals at the east end.

You can recover at the Inn or visit the Shop east of the Inn for equipment upgrades and to check Shop Orders.

When ready, exit Cotto to the Cottorinth Region and head for the exit in the center of the northern edge, which leads to the Cottorinth Mountain Pass.
