Upon accepting the quest from the survivor leader, 'Old Man Hemlock', you'll be directed to a specific area marked on your map, approximately 500 meters north of your current safe zone. As you approach the marked location, you'll encounter an initial wave of approximately 8-10 standard 'Shambler Zombies'. These are slow but can overwhelm if you're not careful. Utilize Choko's basic melee attacks and dodges to manage them. After clearing the first wave, a more dangerous encounter awaits. A 'Bloated Brute', a larger, more resilient zombie variant with a devastating charge attack, will emerge from a wrecked truck, accompanied by 3 'Crawler' zombies. The Bloated Brute has approximately 300 HP and deals significant impact damage. Focus your attacks on its weak points, typically its exposed torso, while evading its charges. Using an 'EMP Grenade' if you have one crafted can temporarily stun it, creating an opening for sustained damage.

Once the immediate threats are neutralized, you'll need to search the wreckage. The primary supply cache is located inside a heavily damaged armored transport vehicle. The area surrounding the tower is patrolled by 6 'Mutated Hounds', fast-moving creatures that attack in packs and can inflict a 'Bleeding' status effect. have crafted 'Stim-Packs' ready to counter this. Additionally, a 'Spore Launcher' enemy, a stationary but dangerous mutated plant that fires toxic projectiles, will be positioned on a higher platform of the radio tower itself.

To reach the main control console of the radio tower, you'll need to ascend a series of precarious metal walkways. Be cautious of unstable platforms that may break underfoot. At the base of the tower, you will likely encounter 2 'Hollow Soldiers', tougher, more armored zombie variants that can withstand more damage and wield makeshift melee weapons. Prioritize eliminating the Spore Launcher from a distance using a ranged weapon, as its area-of-effect attacks can be devastating. Once the immediate threats are dealt with, you can interact with the main console. This will initiate a short cutscene where Choko manages to stabilize the signal, revealing a fragmented message.
