Master the Salt and Sanctuary HUD! Learn what every bar, number, and icon means for your Health, Stamina, Focus, Level, Salt, Gold, and buffs.

Alright, let's break down what all those symbols and bars on your screen in Salt and Sanctuary actually mean. It might seem like a lot at first, but once you know what you're looking at, it's super helpful for keeping track of your character and resources.

Upper Left Corner: Your Core Stats

• Red Bar: Health - This is your life. When it hits zero, you know what happens...
• Light Blue Bar: Stamina - Crucial for everything you do! Attacking, dodging, blocking – it all chews through Stamina. Keep an eye on this so you don't get caught with an empty bar.
• Grey Bar: Focus - This one's for your special abilities and magic. It regenerates, but slower than Stamina.
• Level Number (in Circle): This is your overall character level.
• Small Bars Under Level: Primary Stats Summary - These show how your Strength, Dexterity, and Magic are developing based on the skill points you've invested.
• Boxes Under Bars: Equipped Items - The ones on the left show your currently equipped weapons, and the ones on the right show your armor and accessories.

Lower Left Corner: Resources and Status

• Yellow Coin Line: Gold - This is the currency you'll find scattered throughout the world. Spend it wisely at the Sanctuary!
• White Pyramid Line: Salt - This is your experience and your currency for leveling up. The bar next to it shows your progress toward the next level. Once it fills up and turns white, you've got enough Salt to level up at a Sanctuary.
• Torch Icon: Torches - Shows how many torches you're carrying. The directional indicator next to it (usually D-Pad Down) tells you how to light one up when you need it.
• Icons Right of Gold: Active Buffs - These pop up when you equip certain rings or items that give you ongoing bonuses, like increased Salt gain.
• Icons Right of Salt: Stone Offering Buffs - These indicate buffs you've received from using Stone Offerings. Check the Offering's description to see exactly what bonus it provides, like a boost to your gold find rate.
