Alright, let's break down what all those little icons and bars on your screen actually mean in Salt and Sacrifice. It might seem like a lot at first, but once you know what you're looking at, it's super helpful for keeping track of everything.

Upper Left Corner: Your Core Stats

• Red Bar: This is your Health. Pretty straightforward – keep this green (or red, in this case) and you're good to go. If it hits zero, you're respawning.
• Light Blue Bar: This is your Stamina. It drains when you attack, dodge, or block. Watch this closely, especially during fights, because running out means you can't do much of anything for a bit.
• Grey Bar (under Stamina): This is your Focus. It's used for special abilities or certain weapon attacks. It regenerates over time, but not as quickly as Stamina.
• Level Number (in circle): This shows your current character level.
• Small Bars under Level: These are your primary stats: Strength, Dexterity, and Magic. The longer the bar, the more points you've put into that stat, making you better at related actions (like hitting harder with Strength-based weapons or casting spells with Magic).
• Boxes (under bars): These show your currently equipped gear. The ones on the left are your weapons, and the ones on the right are your armor and accessories.

Lower Left Corner: Resources and Status Effects

• Yellow Coin Line: This shows how much Gold you're currently carrying. You'll use this to buy items and services from NPCs.
• White Pyramid Line: This is your Salt. It's the main currency for leveling up and is also dropped when you die, so guard it well! The bar next to it shows your progress toward the next level. Once it's full and turns white, you have enough Salt to level up.
• Torch Icon & D-Pad Prompt: The little icon shows how many Torches you have. The directional pad prompt (usually holding Down) tells you how to light one when you need it. Essential for dark areas!
• Icons right of Gold: These are your active buffs, often from equipping rings. They might give you bonuses like increased Salt gain or better defense.
• Icons right of Salt: These are buffs from Stone Offerings. Check the description of each Offering to see what bonus it provides, like a boost to your gold find.
