Wrenwood Hotel - Grace

When you gain control of Grace, open your inventory (touchpad and R1) and highlight the Investigation Report. Zoom and rotate it to interact with a paperclip, allowing you to open and read it.

Leaf through the case photographs (→ button) to unlock the Investigation Report file (1/75).

Examine the fourth photograph to see a victim by a toilet. Note the blood swirl on the wall shaped like a figure eight.

Close your inventory and continue down the street. Examine the brochure in the bus stop holder to unlock the Wrenwood City Guide file (2/75).

Continue further and examine the missing posters on the newsstand (these are for flavor only).

Grace will notice police tape in front of the hotel. Show your FBI badge to a police officer to be allowed to pass.

Follow the alley to the right and crouch (R3) to duck under debris.

Continue past the boarded-up door and duck into an alley to find an employee entrance.

Switch your torch on (↑ button) and follow the passageway to a kitchen.

Continue through the next door.

Examine the Photo of Grace pinned to the bar and turn it around to find a note directing you to Room 204 and an Old Key.

Use the Old Key to unlock the door to the right of the bar.

Ignore the passage to the right leading to a restroom.

Head down the passage to a cluttered lobby and find the Hotel Pamphlet file (3/75) on the floor.

Go behind the reception desk and through to an office.

Open the desk drawer to find the Notice of Closure file (4/75).

Examine the notice board to find the Wrenwood Hotel Floor Plan.

Return to the lobby and go up two flights of stairs.

Grab the Wire Cutters from a box on top of the pool table.

Ignore the locked emergency exit.

Examine the door at the end of the hallway and use the Wire Cutters on the wires wrapped around the handles.

Go through the door and down the hallway to room 204 at the end.

Examine the photographs of Grace on the bed for a flashback.

Follow Alyssa down the stairs to the lobby.

After the next scene, continue to follow Alyssa.

After the next scene, Grace returns to the present day.

Leave the room and head back to the lobby.

Move the luggage trolley away from the painting.

Examine the painting to retrieve a leather case containing the Alyssa's Journal file (5/75) and an optical disc.

Warning: The police officer in the lobby will transform after complaining of being stung.

Hold the X button to wriggle out of Grace's jacket while using the left stick to evade the officer's attacks.

Grace will automatically pick up the Emergency Exit Key from the floor.

Grab a poker. Mash R2 to stab the assailant through the eye.

Run up the stairs and use the Emergency Exit Key to open the emergency exit.

After fending off the pursuing police officer, a second assailant will render Grace unconscious.
