Guide to the Public Assembly Showdown in Resident Evil 5. Learn enemy spawns, safe spots, and how to defeat the Executioner to progress.

Alright, we're heading into the Public Assembly area, and it's going to get hectic! The main thing to watch out for here is an endless wave of Town Majini. As soon as you enter the empty house, you'll trigger a cutscene with the Agitator (that guy with the megaphone). You can skip it right away and head outside through the door.

Once you're outside, turn left and make your way up to the fence/gate. This is where most of the Majini will be pouring in from, so get ready to defend this spot. If you have Sheva with you, her Longbow is super useful here. Keep an eye out for another spawn point immediately to your right, just above the car. These two spots are the only places they'll come from for now, so hold them off until the next scene kicks in.

After that, you'll want to move from the gate to the corner on the left, right up against the wall. The Majini will still be coming from the gate and above the car, but they'll also start appearing from the corner to the right of the car. This is your safest temporary spot. Just as the Executioner shows up and smashes through the gate, it's time to move fast.

Look for the first ladder immediately to your right and climb up it. Pro Tip: If you happen to have a Hand Grenade, you can actually blow up the gate yourself and skip waiting for the Executioner to break it down.

This elevated spot is where we'll finish this fight. The Majini will be coming up the ladder you just climbed, and also from a wooden catwalk to your left. Your best bet is to stand right above the ladder and take them out as they come. Just make sure you're also keeping a close eye on your right, because that's where the Executioner will be making his entrance. Be ready to hit him with your Hydra! If you can manage to hold them off from up here, you'll be able to last until the stage ends.
