Alright, let's talk about the economy in Ragnarok Online – it's a bit different from what you might expect. The biggest thing to get your head around is that most players don't really grasp the concept of 'Supply and Demand.' It's almost all 'Supply' in their minds.

Basically, how much something sells for boils down to two things: how common it is (supply) and how much people actually want it (demand). For the absolute best value, you're looking for an item that's super rare but also something everyone is desperate to get their hands on.

Think about the extremes: Jellopies versus Safety Rings. Jellopies are everywhere, right? And honestly, nobody really needs them, which is why you can't even give them away. On the flip side, a Safety Ring? Those are incredibly scarce, but literally everyone wants one. That's why you'll see them going for millions – there are probably fewer than 10 in the entire game!

The funny thing is, a lot of players just don't get this. They'll slap insane prices on items, especially rare cards, just because they're rare. But if a card only gives you a measly +1 Maximum HP, it's not worth much, no matter how hard it is to find.
