Alright, let's talk about footwear in Ragnarok Online! Shoes might seem basic, but they can give you a nice little boost, especially early on. We'll go over the different types, where you can snag 'em, and what they'll cost you. Think of these as your first line of defense for your feet!

Crystal Pumps are pretty unique. They don't offer any DEF, but they give you a sweet +10 LUK, which is awesome for critical hits and some other stats. They're not something you can buy, but you might get lucky and find them dropped by Marrionettes or Masterings. They're super light too, only weighing 10.

Next up are Sandals. These are your basic, everyday shoes. You can buy them in pretty much any town for a measly 400z, and they give you 1 DEF. They're a bit heavier at 20 weight, but hey, it's a start! If you sell them back, you'll get 200z.

Then we have the standard Shoes. These give you a bit more defense with 2 DEF, but they're also heavier at 40 weight. You can pick these up in most towns for 3500z, and selling them gets you 1750z. They're a solid upgrade from Sandals if you're not a Novice.

High Heels are another option for more specialized classes. They give you 2 DEF and 5 MDEF, which is pretty nice. Like the Crystal Pumps, you can't buy these directly, but they can drop from Bathory. They're pretty heavy though, weighing in at 60.

Finally, we have Boots. These are the best standard shoes you can buy, offering 3 DEF. They're a bit lighter than the regular Shoes at 30 weight. You can grab these in Prontera for 18000z, and they sell back for 9000z. These are a great choice if you need that extra bit of physical defense and can afford them.
