Talk to the Cassie figure in front of you, and then you'll have a large room to explore. Start off by using the Pouncy Ball ability to reach the alcove near the suitcase; then use a stack of books and a card catalog drawer to reach another alcove with a NUGGET OF WISDOM (1/4). To the left of the "Children's Corner" exit, use some tightropes and then cross a couple slowed card catalog drawers to another drawer. From the next drawer you can reach the chandelier, and from there, a card catalog drawer above the alcove that had the nugget of wisdom. Don't worry about the higher figments above the chandelier for the moment. Figment checkpoint: 31/227.

Use the slider handle near the "Children's Corner" sign to continue. Here, you will be introduced to the "enabler" enemy, which forms a link with another enemy and makes that enemy invulnerable to damage. The best way to deal with these is pyrokinesis, which breaks any active link and does significant damage at the same time. Once you've defeated the enabler and censor pair, climb the path of card catalogs and lace climbing walls to the book that was just revealed in a cutscene. Before you touch the book, be sure to look on top of a tall stack of books to its right for a figment, and then jump across to some lace netting to the left for another figment. At this point, my figment count was 47/227. Examine the book and proceed through a side-scrolling platforming level. The rest of the figments should be easy to reach; you should finish with a figment count of 53/227.

As you exit, you will be given the new Projection power. Use it to open the door in front of you. Down the hallway, use the Projection power again to operate the slider handle past the bars. Have your archetype open another door to the right and continue to another large room. Pick up the PURSE TAG near the exit on the upper level; then bring it to the PURSE which you'll find on the other upper level section, reached by a high jump to lace climbing nets. Figment checkpoint: 73/227. Have your archetype operate the handle while you wait to get through the door to reach three more figments and another book triggering a side-scrolling platforming section. At the end, my figment count was 84/227.

After another combat, open the VAULT (1/2). As you explore, take care not to land on the central platform until you have everything you want to collect. Cross the venus flytrap books to another book creating a column of air to float in. Levitate in the column of air, turn around, and use the mental connection nodes to get to the SUITCASE TAG. Return to the windmill book, and this time take the other path of mental connection nodes first to an alcove with a red Cassie figment, and then to another alcove with a NUGGET OF WISDOM (2/4). From that second alcove, drop to get a red "123" figment from the top of a tower of books. Figment checkpoint: 93/227.

Return to the windmill book and float in the column of air, then go to the central platform to finish this portion. Back in the main library room, tag the SUITCASE first. Now, return to the chandelier, and then look at the ground until you see a slider handle below the drawer you just jumped from. Send your archetype to operate that handle, which will raise the chandelier and allow you to collect the higher figments, as well as giving you access to a high balcony with images of the Psychic Seven. Figment checkpoint: 100/227.

Reenter the Children's Corner section, and on the upper level have your archetype open the door to collect a HALF-A-MIND (1/2). Use your archetype to let you exit the area, and then to let you into the Literature Lane section. Find another HALF-A-MIND (2/2) on the ground level here. Climb the stack of books in the middle, and follow the path across a venus flytrap book and a couple of card catalog drawers with a tightrope between them. From the central drawer at that last part, use the central venus flytrap book and the long drawer to reach a balcony with the next side-scroller book. Figment checkpoint before entering: 113/227. Here, the trickiest thing is timing the jump from the "a formicis rogabat" platform to reach the next platform. Otherwise, my figment count at the end was 118/227.

Once you're in the next section, climbing around the tower just at your starting point will get you a couple figments. Otherwise, exploring the docks area should get you to a figment count of 140/227.

Fish Cannery

From the path branching right as you go forward from the Fannie Flags tower, collect a red flag figment from the pencil pole nearby and then take the tightrope. Slow down one of the rising fish platforms and then jump across another slowed rising fish platform to the left to reach the top. Have your archetype open the door, and then jump across the sinking fish platforms; and try to collect the moving figments along the way. Grab the HAT BOX TAG from the back right corner.
